So I use badlion client, badlion has the armor status mod which allows me to have my armor showing. Then press the GUI Editing and set it anywhere you like ( Gui Editing is between the Profile and Gear Icon looks like 3 circles).

No, but there is an area at spawn that you can go to which is the farm, off of the farm there is a teleporter that will teleport you to the barn. At the barn, there are multiple animals that spawn there. You can get leather from killing the cows over there.
