Hey so i don't often speak in comment section but as an European i think skyblock is dying by the day. It's just unplayble, like servers crashes or lag, plus the constant 140ms just makes it impossible to grind. I'm wondering why admins don't make any changes about that point. Still thanks for the content looking foward the next video !

It's just a money problem. The reason why they don't have servers in the EU is simply because of money. Just because hypixel is the biggest minecraft server doesn't mean they can just set up an international base for EU servers. They aren't a AAA game studio with billions to spend. Plus, the game itself is still owned by Microsoft and I'm not sure about the legalities of going international even if they do have the money. Microsoft still has power over hypixel no matter what.

Now, I dont have access to their financials so i can't fully back that up, but it would be ignorant and arrogant to assume that a server full of mostly kids borrowing their mom's credit card for their birthday would be enough to pay for international servers and international employees. There was so much thing that i dont know and know there is more coming... (I was 50 levels, I have 500m coins, Full Shadow assasin armor etc. but i had so much to learn still...)

once the migration to 1.20 or 1.21 gets done, they'll be able to add stuff so much faster since datapacks are like 4x faster to work with than raw java programming, although slightly less optimal and more limited

While the quality of the game may increase in 2025, I seriously doubt the game will ever increase in permanent players again. We HAD a golden age. It was 2020-2021. It passed. All that's happening is admins trying to patch up an inherently flawed game that was NEVER meant to reach the popularity it did.

The only time it ever hit 40k this past year was during the glacite tunnels update and the mountain top update. Hence why the average player count is only 20k-30k. If they fix their insane anual inflation, maybe. Though I think Skyblock's golden age is long gone, at least since the passing of Techno, who was the reason for many active players. Skyblock's progression is a dumpster fire, which the admins are slowly trying to extinguish, yet some items cost far too much for what they give (ender artifact, wither artifact costing 1500x more than 2020) or general (quite strong) progression items, such as the precursor eye being overshadowed by other things, Topaz Drills and Jasper Drills being mostly irrelevant for anything but powder farming and so on. Some good items cost too little for the progression they offer (e.g. kuudra armor for a hurtfully cheap price) etc. First, there need to be more balance changes. A lot more. To pull irellivancy back into a semi-spotlight and permanant spotlight down into a semi-spotlight alike. Even if I don't play Ironman, some RNG drops really need to be reworked. They are so insanely grindy, that it'd take days, maybe weeks of grinding items just for a chance (since you won't even reach the RNG meter's max). Dungeons is hella boring. It's the exact same experience all around. The bosses are barely challenging anymore. It's only played for drops and not fun. Which is not what a part of a large game should be offering. Fun is important, yet dungeons is draining. Foraging update seems cool. They change their MC Version for that specific island. Step in a good direction. I'd actually support a full switch to 1.20+, as there are things you can do with commands or plugins that would renew everything. This wouldn't even be much of an issue, as Skyblock players mostly use abilities to attack, and even if it's not good for combat, just make it stronger for the lost time between attacks. Last thing I want to criticize is the leaks of the new SB menu. It seems very... Wynncraft inspired... it's still original but I can't see anything but Wynncraft in it, which makes it look like plagirism to me. Subjectively, it's unoriginal. Objectively, it is... even if somewhat inspired.

They should add NPC when ironman players can sell their rare drops from slayers(or even more rare drops not from slayer like summoning eye chimera, scrolls/handle from f7) for good amount of money (overflux cap, judg core, etc). Doing slayers to max lvl 9 u can got a lot rare drops a what can i do wit them? I can sell it to npc for 1coins well its so stupid. They should make this NPC, make prices like 50M for flux 200m core etc. Just making another money making methot to ironman. Ironman can do 2 things 1. Farming (semi afk) 2. Mining (nerfed and a lot of ppl dont like last changes and quit mining) there is no good other money making method. This change dont affect normal players other ironmans and make more enjoyable ironman.
