As someone who has been playing on Hypixel since early July 2013, this made me feel super nostalgic and made me reminisce of the old days, such as when there were rank-specific lobbies. It is truly insane to see how far Hypixel has come, and even since the making of this video, Hypixel has only continued to see unprecedented growth, and it really makes me feel special knowing i've been a part of Hypixel for most of its existence. Anyways, personal experiences aside, great video, man. Idk how this only has 5k views, but mark my words, your channel will blow up in due time.

Great video! There are a ton of poorly-researched Hypixel history videos out there, and it's not helped by the fact that the Hypixel Wikipedia page is still a scant few paragraphs. It's nice to see someone break that mold with some good context and chronology, especially if you only joined the network in 2017. Speaking as someone who's been around since 2014, I wouldn't have made this video any other way.

If you weren't there, you wouldn't remember. When Skyblock was first introduced to the prototype lobby, EVERYONE thought it would flop. When the player count stayed at a consistent five thousand for most of the first week (3k on the second day, when I joined and 4-5k following), that's when people jumped on the bandwagon.
