I’m fortunate to be with a midwife that does breech deliveries, but this video is still helpful as I’d like to avoid it if possible! ❤

This is my 3rd pregnancy and my first breeched baby and I am super sad about it. I am blaming myself. I feel like I didn't do anything different. My first I worked full time and sat the entire time. My second I got pretty sick during covid lockdown and slept half my pregnancy. My third I got sick as well but I feel like I was the most physically active I worked in the garden and took my kids for a lot of summer activities. So idk how this would happen. I had an ECV done and my baby would not budge. Now I am scheduled for my first c-section. I just hope my baby is doing alright stuck in this frank breeched position.

@@Corinne-by1fi hi! Thanks for your message. I'm sure your baby will be absolutely fine in a breech position. Have you been particularly stressed during your pregnancy? This can sometimes cause babies to be breech? I hope that everything goes well during the rest of your pregnancy. Where will you be giving birth? X
@Corinne-by1fi2 ай бұрын
@HypnobirthingWithAnja I could have been more stressed than usual. Or maybe anxious is the word as I had a miscarriage right before this pregnancy, so I was always anxious for my next appt to make sure everything is still good. I will be having her in the States, at a different hospital than my previous 2 kids.

My 3rd flipped a couple days before my water broke. I had a c section, then two more vaginal deliveries. I'm pregnant with #6 now, and he seems to be doing the same sort of stuff. I'm trying to stay balanced, but it's hard to know why he is constantly flipping around. I am 39 weeks pregnant, and he has been head down at every appointment, but often moves into a more transverse position. Idk what he will do

I have been extremely elevating my feet due to swelling. I live in a hot climate so walking anywhere outside has been aggravating the swelling. I’m 36+6 and my baby is still transverse. Going to give the hip elevation and massage a shot.

Im 33 wk 2 days and have a footling breech baby girl. I was also diagnosed with a bicornate uterus. Has any other mommas had a high success rate of getting baby to turn by now and deliver naturally? This is my first and im getting nervous.

Hi, thank you for the wonderful video. I have been adviced bedrest due to low lying placenta. So either i lie on left side or sit on bed. Please advice how can i sit properly on bed to avoid problems
@HypnobirthingWithAnja3 ай бұрын
Hi! Thanks for your question. If you can sit on a pillow/cushion so your bottom and hips are slightly higher than your knees when you're sitting on your bed, that would be good 👍💗

@HypnobirthingWithAnjaАй бұрын
@@Parentingtips007 your baby's cord may unravel so your baby can change positions. I wouldn't worry but speak to your doctor if you are concerned. X

@@paulashaham6282 thanks for your message. Yes, cords can sometimes cause babies to be in certain positions. Your situation was quite unique. I hope that your baby's birth went well and that motherhood is going really well for you ❤️😘

@@HypnobirthingWithAnja also, I sat on a futon couch with my legs crossed! So, this was excellent advice to sit with the hips higher than the knees and not cross the legs. My “baby” is pregnant with her 2nd child at the age of 25! Yes, my cesarean birth went quite well. My baby’s head was large and my hips were narrow. The midwife did not know she was breech but the tip off was that she always had trouble getting the heartbeat! Excellent advice to sit with the hips higher than the knees. I did side lay a lot and did go for walks. I think the cord wrapped around early in the pregnancy because I always felt the flutter of her little hands on the same side And the “disconcerting “ push of her feet towards the groin. There is some who say not to reach above the head (like to get things off of a shelf) because this could make the baby breech. Any truth in this statement?
@HypnobirthingWithAnja3 ай бұрын
@@paulashaham6282 Dear Paula, lovely to hear back from you. How exciting that your daughter is pregnant with her second. I'm not sure about the reaching up to get things off a shelf and connection to breech babies. I will have to find out. It's interesting you mentioned this because a friend of mine is a painter/decorator and she painted many ceilings during pregnancy and had a breech baby. So there maybe is some truth in what you mentioned 😃

What causes the cord to be round the baby's neck?
@HypnobirthingWithAnja2 ай бұрын
@@QuedsyBless The fetal movements your baby makes before they are born is the most common cause of the cord being wrapped around them. An extra amount of amniotic fluid may also make it more likely as it allows your baby to move around more freely. Also, a longer than average umbilical cord might also cause your baby to have it wrapped around them in some way. Unfortunately there isn't anything we can do to prevent this. Babies love to play with their cords 😂 and they can sometimes end up wrapped around their body or neck in some way. It's not usually anything to worry about. My baby had her's wrapped around her neck twice when she was being born. The midwife said I had a long cord and she just quickly unravelled the cord from around my baby's neck as soon as she came out 👍💞

Ahh I’m scared my baby will be breach. I’m 32 weeks and unable to go for walks due to pubic symphysis, coccyx pain and sciatic pain. I have to use crutches sometimes. Most of the time, I’m laying down with my pregnancy pillow between my legs or sitting on a birth ball. Do you have any other advice? It’s very painful to walk and have been advised by doctors to just rest and not exercise or go for walks.
@HypnobirthingWithAnja3 ай бұрын
Hi, thanks so much for your message 😊 Have you been told what position your baby is in or don't you know? If you can't walk, that's ok. Just be aware of your seated position. Sitting on a birth ball and lying down with a pillow between your legs will still help so please don't stress. It would be good to know what position your baby is currently in though 💓🌹

Don’t be normal. They turn when they’re ready to come out. Breech is more comfortable for them especially in petite upper body. Deep breaths, relax and try to not stress. The stress is bad.
