Nathalie Kaufmann, Pregnancy and Birth Consultant, and Mathias Ritter, Science Expert, talk about how to naturally turn a breech baby instantly. Flipping a breech baby fast is not difficult, if there are no important reasons, why your baby cannot turn (for example: the cord may be tangled around your baby, making it impossible for them to turn). In fact, if you want to turn your breech baby fast from any breech position, you need to do two things: First, you need to make it easier for the baby to turn. And you do that by applying the right kind of breech baby turning exercises which make your body more flexible, get the baby out of your pelvis and provide the baby with more space to turn. Second, now that it has become easier for your baby to turn, you need to encourage the breech baby to flip. We do this by applying a breech baby turning tool called moxibustion. The combination of both, the breech baby turning exercises, as well as the breech baby tool, can help you quickly and safely turn your breech baby fast. In fact, this exact approach has worked for many women at Nathalie's clinic to turn their breach babies instantly. The key is to encourage the baby to turn head down.
PLEASE NOTE: YOU HAVE TO GET THE APPROVAL OF YOUR DOCTOR FIRST BEFORE YOU TRY THESE EXERCISES! THEY ARE NOT SAFE FOR EVERY WOMAN!!

I followed these exercises and the ones my Dr gave me from 32 weeks and baby was still breech. At 39 weeks I was scheduled for a c section but I thank God I didn't give up. On the day of c section, they did the last scan and baby was head down. I was supper happy 😊. Don't give up ladies. I did all exercises except the Moxa burning one. Thank you for all the help and may your channel continue to grow because it's helping a lot of women avoid c section.

Hi there 😊, thank you SO MUCH for sharing your story with us!! 😘😘 It makes us EXTREMELY happy that our videos help women avoid C-sections!! 🥰❤️ Initially, when we posted our video, we were not sure if a video would change anything, since, it is one thing to help women at the clinic - face to face. But it's a completely different story to just watch a video and then do these things based on video instructions alone. But we are super happy to hear that it DOES help!! 🥰 We wish you ALL THE BEST for the upcoming delivery, for you and your baby!! ❤️

SUCCESS Story 🎉: I found out my 2nd baby was breech at 31 weeks. I cried after that appointment because I did not want a c-section. Due to complications it had been decided that I needed to deliver at 37 weeks so I had limited time to get her turned around. I was not going to sit around and not do anything. So I followed these exercises (w/out moxa) I had her confirmed and turned around by week 34. Due to one of complications I had a lot of fluid which made it easy for her to move about…Week 35 she was transverse. Again they booked a c-section just in case. At this point I really thought my fate was sealed but again did the three exercises and by Week 36 she was down and low! I ended up making it to 37 weeks and delivering by vaginally! So grateful to have found this video!

I there Sadia!! 😊 You cannot even imagine how happy it makes us to hear that!! 🥳🥳🥳 It is not easy to turn a baby at such a late stage of a pregnancy. It is one thing if we do it at the clinic. However, doing this yourself at home, being 40 weeks pregnant, without having any experience is just a completely different story. Kudos to you! 😊 Also, it shows us that our explanations in our video seem clear enough so that women can really do this at home all by themselves (even at such a late stage in their pregnancy!!). 🥳🥳 Thanks so much again for sharing! You are both AMAZING! My wife recently found out our second baby girl is full breach at 38weeks and a day… We were surprised and unprepared for the decisions we would need to make. 1.) having the doctor turn her physically… 2.) the potential of a c section… This all happened three days ago. So over the weekend we researched and came across your amazing video! So last night we tried all your provided steps with the Moxa at the end. I’m sitting at our appointment with my wife for the follow up Ultrasound and to decide if we are letting the doc turn her (we don’t feel right about it)… BUT no need! Our baby girl flipped head down on her own, with a little help from you and I believe God 😉. Thank you SO much for this video and for all your shared knowledge and experience. I believe in my heart of hearts it worked! May you be blessed for sharing your knowledge and love. For anyone else out there, don’t give up, try this and I pray it also works for you. God bless. Thank you so much for his video, I think it worked! I am 34 weeks pregnant. My baby's movements were only in the lower belly, and I could feel her head on my right lower abdomen. An ultrasound confirmed she was in transverse position. I watched your video and the next day called an acupuncture clinic, they were so nice to sell me a moxa stick. I could feel my baby moving about after 15 mins of the last exercise. Afterwards her head was no longer on the lower right part of my abdomen. Her body and movements are more centered and I can feel movements also higher in the abdomen. I am not 100% sure she is heads down or in which direction is she facing, but I'm sure she has positioned herself differently. It is only in two weeks that I'll check with an ultrasound. Hopefully I'm right!

Hi there Ana 😊! Oh, that's really GREAT to hear!! Thanks so much for sharing!! From what you describe, it really sounds like it could have worked! We are super eager to hear if your baby is now in the right position! So, we would be very grateful if you could keep us updated! If she is not, then you could as well try it again. Baby was transverse position until the week 32 and I started doing 4 exercise everyday(I tried only 1 time moxibition) I took a note to follow exercise routine and imagined baby was head down while my breath exercise. I am now 37 weeks and ultrasound baby is head down. I am really happy thats why would like to share my exeperience. Hi there April! 😊 Please note that in our experience, as long as you are less than 34 weeks pregnant, there is another approach which COULD be more effective to turn a breech baby. For what it is worth- I am 37 weeks, and my baby turns from transverse, to oblique, to head down multiple times a day! I am trying to stay relaxed. I don’t believe some babies are ready to settle down at some magical date, so I wish these numbers weren’t thrown around like they were hard and fast rules. If my baby can move SO much at this point, he clearly is capable of moving head down ultimately. So I hope😊😊😊

Hi there 😊, oh, you are so right! We had babies turn head down as late as week 40 (!). So, yes, anything can happen! And by the way: if your baby is able to move around in such a flexible way, there is normally really no need to worry. In our experience, such babies tend to end up in the right position... 😊 That said, unfortunately, not every baby is able to move around so freely like yours.... 🙁 We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️

And what you can also try, if the baby is still breech tomorrow, is extend the duration of moxibustion to 30 minutes (i.e. do the exercise in combination with moxibustion for 10-20 minutes, then stop and continue with moxibustion for another 10-20 minutes, so that it makes 30 minutes overall...) @@biggofoe4258 Hello! Well, it depends a bit on your wife's case. The problem is that if there are good reasons why your baby cannot turn, then unfortunately, there is nothing that you can do. For example, if the cord is tangled around your baby, then the baby simply cannot turn. However, if a baby is not obstructed by such things and if the baby simply has not yet turned yet, then there is an approach which might help. Here is a video in which we describe that approach: kzbin.info/www/bejne/m17OmWmkrayeec0. My baby was in breech position by 31.3days weeks in growth profile. After that i saw this video and tried 3times this exercise. Damn today we confirmed that baby head is down. But after doing this exercise had very severe pain due to movements I guess that's due to baby rotated fully damn that can't be explained. Also after a week I felt less movement compared to last month. I have movements comparatively less that's where I thought may be head will be down. And today doc confirmed. Thank you for this video and pdf guidance. Also I didn't inform I did this excercise to the gyn but later doc said it might not be safe for all. I guess I agree on that point.

Hi there 😘, unfortunately, you are right: these exercises are not safe for all women! That is why we say both, in our video and pdf file to get the approval of your doctor first! So, please always do that first - it is very important! Nevertheless, of course, we are happy to hear that at least they worked and that your baby is now head down! Thanks a lot for letting us know! 😘 We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️

God bless you sweet couple! ❤ My wife who's in her 36th week was scared by our doctor who kept telling us the baby is in breech and that we need to book a c-section. She did your exercises (except for Moxa) for 3 days and on the scan we did yesterday, the little one is now in cephalic position! ❤ I have 3 questions for you guys: 1. Is Moxibustion still necessary? I'm asking because I've ordered Moxa sticks from Amazon and they haven't arrived yet. 2. Her doctor told us that in cases of a variable lie, the position of the baby may change so keeping this in mind, does she need to do the same exercises still? Again, God bless you two! 😃✌

Hi there 😊, it's SO great to hear that these exercises helped your baby turn head down!! It makes us really proud o hear that!! 👍❤️😊 Initially, we did not know if this video is gonna be a success because it is one thing to do this at the clinic together with women - face to face - but another thing to teach these things online. We are happy to see that it works!! 😊 Regarding your questions: You don't need to apply moxibustion at this point... Some babies do turn with the help of these exercises alone. And if they do, there is no need to apply moxibustion... It is true that IN THEORY your baby could turn again. But please don't be worried about that at all! It is highly unlikely that a baby turns again at such a late stage of a pregnancy. And even if they do: at least, you now know that nothing PREVENTS your baby from turning. So, they can always turn again... That said, now, you can stop with the exercises! The next step is to engage the baby. We have yet to post a video on how to do that. However, the most effective exercise here are deep squats because they can help "press" the baby into the pelvis! On top of that, your wife could also try pelvic rocking on a birth ball (which we explain in this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/jmTWgIKYpr97qLs). We really hope this helps! 😊 We wish you ALL THE BEST for you, your wife and your baby! ❤️

Thank you for the video and as requested, below is my honest feedback: 1- Get to the point and focus. The video is unnecessarily long. The 11:49 could have been shortened to less than 5 minutes. 2- Be more organized. You can mention the 'Breech Baby Turning Guide' at the beginning or the end. No need to mention it many times during the video. Also it would have been very helpful to mention how long to do each exercise at 10:52 in addition to the repetition. I had to move back and forth in the time line to get the recommended length for each exercise. - Cat-cow pose : 6 reps for 3/4 sets per day. - Knee to chest : (if doing it on floor) 5- 10 minutes for 3/4 sets per day. - Knee to chest : (if using sofa) at least 30 seconds for 3/4 sets per day. - Breech tilt: 10-20 minutes once a day. 3- Keep the flow. At the beginning you started with exercises and in the middle, mentioned moxibustion and then went back to the exercises. That was confusing. 4- 6:20 & 6:45 that was really unnecessary. Please stay focus on the point rather than talking about something else. Bear in mind am giving you my time that I can't get it back and I want the most of it rather than hearing about things doesn't really concern me. My point is not to be mean for giving my feedback, but to be honest and appreciate the amount of time and work put in the video. Thank you again.

Hi there, thanks so much for your feedback! 😊👍 We must say, we are sometimes a bit surprised by the kind of feedback we receive. 😊 We totally agree that this video could have been shorter! However, what some people don't seem to realize is that what we offer in this video is a very effective way to turn a breech baby to help them AVOID a C-section. That's not a small thing. And not only that: this information is also 100% free! So, we see it from a different perspective: it is US who give you OUR time!. In fact, it took us 3.5 full days to produce this video including planning the video, recording it, editing, recording B-Roll, editing B-Roll, writing the guide and setting up a download function on our website (next to running a clinic and managing a 2 year old toddler). That's time we don't get back either! So, it's an offer from US to YOU to help you turn your baby rather than asking you to give us your time - we don't get anything out of your time (trust us, the money that you can earn on youtube is ridiculous). And not only that: we even offer a guide for people who don't want to watch the video or have a hard time finding the information. That guide contains all relevant information including the number of repetitions and how to do the exercises. That's why we mention the guide several times throughout this video. But please don't get us wrong! Our point is not to be mean either! We just want to help you understand our perspective here! Anyways, most importantly, we hope that this approach will help you turn your baby! Every woman deserves a normal delivery! Thanks again and all the best for you and your baby! 😘

Hello 😊, well, so far, doctors have recommended to sleep on the left side if possible. However, recently, scientists have found that sleeping on either the left or the right side appears to be equally safe. Therefore, most doctor will nowadays say that it is okay to sleep on whatever side you find most convenient. 😊 We hope this helps! All the best for you and your little baby!! ❤️❤️

Sleeping on your left side helps blood flow to fetus, also opens your lungs more. Sleeping on your back or right side when further along could cause pinched nerves which could cause the baby to stop breathing

Hi there Denisa! 😊 it's very difficult to say if this approach is going to work in week 38. In general, week 38 is very late for many reasons, for example, because the amount of amniotic fluid starts to decrease at some point (plus, the baby is obviously getting bigger). But it COULD work. Also, please note that some babies really only just turn in the very last minute. Funnily, we just received the same question about alternatives to moxa sticks yesterday. To be honest, it's a difficult question. We have a friend who is working in Traditional Chinese Medicine and he told us that it is okay to use alternative heat sources instead, like a heat pad or hot water bottle. Unfortunately, we cannot confirm if the effect will be the same, because we have never done this. But it is the only thing we can tell you... We are sorry that we cannot be a better help here! All the best for you and your baby!! ❤️

I tried these exercises and the sleeping position you recommended when I was around week 30-32 and they helped me to turn my baby head down from breech position. Everything was normal and she was in a perfect position for delivery, until yesterday when my doctor told me that she's turned and now she's in a frank breech!!! And I'm now 38 weeks and 2 days pregnant 😢 Just last week on my regular exam she was in a head down position and I don't know what happened now. So my doctor gave me 2 weeks to try to turn her again, since my cervix is still pretty stiff and there's no contractions of uterus on EKG, which means that my delivery won't be too soon. I'll report back if I manage to turn her, although it's pretty late, but I still have enough of amniotic fluid for her to do it. Otherwise, it will be a C-section for me, although I was so focused on vaginal delivery and learned all the methods I could find to help me with it...

Hi there 😘, okay thanks a lot for sharing this with us! We are really sorry to hear it! Unfortunately, this can happen sometimes. And it absolutely has nothing to do with things you did or did not do! However, please don't be too discouraged! First of all: you were able to flip your baby. So that means that nothing seems to prevent your baby from turning - which is great! Second, your baby turned back in week 38. So apparently, there is still enough space in there as well as amniotic fluid. Third, we know many cases of women whose babies turned as late as week 40! Fourth, with these exercises, we have successfully turned babies from all kinds of positions, including frank breech. So, right now, there is no need to be discouraged! You can do it - like you did it before!! GOOD LUCK!! ❤️

@@Amy-kv8tq No, unfortunately, I had to undergo a C-section. But, I was already very late in pregnancy and it got hard for me to do the exercises so I wasn't very adamant in doing them. I did them regularly for about 3-4 days and I managed just to turn her on the other side, in a way that her head wasn't anymore under my right rib, but it was under my left one. But, in the end, it turned up that there actually was a medical reason why she turned so late in pregnancy and that probably no exercise would help me turn her back. I have a bicornuate uterus, or as my doctor said a heart shaped uterus. It's luckily a very mild case, but that was probably the reason why she ran out of space in uterus when she got big and was easier for her to set her to go for the width of uterus, instead of height. I hope I was clear, English is my second language :) Anyhow, at least the bright side of the C-section is that now I have a beautiful baby that's not mushy or crumbled from a vaginal birth 😆

Hi there Angelyn 😊, the exercises and moxibustion that we explain in this video have indeed helped many women turn their breech baby. In fact, the best time to do them is between week 34 and week 36. Later it's going to be more difficult, although not impossible. It all depends on the size of your baby. However, this approach is only likely to work if nothing prevents your baby from turning. For example, if the cord is tangled around your baby, it could be that your baby is not able to turn... We really hope that this information helps you turn your baby too!! All the best for you and your baby!! ❤️❤️

However, there are still several weeks for your baby to turn… Many babies of women that we see at our clinic DO turn AFTER week 34… In fact, the breech baby turning exercises and moxibustion that we explain in this video (kzbin.info/www/bejne/m17OmWmkrayeec0) has helped many women turn their breech baby between week 34 and week 37 from many different kinds of positions, given of course, that nothing has prevented the baby from turning (which can happen, for example, when the cord is tangled around your baby). We really hope that this approach will help you too turn your breech baby!! All the best for you and your baby!! ❤️❤️

Hi there ❤️, we are sorry to hear that you are under such a lot of pressure. 😬 Although it is not easy to turn a baby in week 38, please note that the approach that we show in this video is the only (natural) approach we are aware of which helped women turn their babies, even as late as in week 40 (and from all kinds of different positions). Therefore, in theory, it could help you too, although of course, there is never a guarantee that it works, simply because there can be good reasons why your baby is simply not able to turn... Still, we really hope this helps you! 😊 We wish you GOOD LUCK and ALL THE BEST for you and your baby! ❤️

Hi there! 😊 If this does not help you turn your baby instantly, then you can repeat the first two exercises 3-4 times per day and the third exercise (with moxibustion) once per day! We really hope this helps you!! 😊

@CareAboutLittleOnes
@CareAboutLittleOnes Жыл бұрын
Hi there 😘, we know many women who have tried these exercises in week 39 (and even later). Of course, at that stage, they are not as effective anymore as in the weeks 34-36. However, the good news is that they DID work for many women in week 39 (and even in week 40). We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️

Thank you for all the advice, pretty sure baby turned. I'll know for sure in a few days with ultrasound, but there's so much pressure, sacrum pain and waddling that wasn't there before so pretty sure babys big head is causing all this discomfort. Thank you😊

@@amberray6083 Thanks a lot for sharing! 😊That's at least a step into the right direction! Luckily, we have just the right exercise! This has really helped lots of women with babies in oblique positions: pelvic rocking on a birthing ball (there are even scientific studies which have found that it can help correct oblique positions). We explain how it works at the end of this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/jmTWgIKYpr97qLs We hope it will help you!! ❤️
