@milky8471 I wanted to have the birth at home, but my partner wasn't comfortable with that. We mutually agreed to have it at the hospital but still incorporate a holistic approach. The hospital and my doctor were very accommodating. I did all natural, no medication or pain management. I did hypnobirthing, and it was a great experience with hardly any pain. I plan on my next being at a birthing center, just for a little more of a peaceful experience. She's almost 4 months now! 🥰

I was SO blessed when I had my son. I was 21 years old. I went to the hospital at 11 pm, on a Monday night. Had actually been in labor for some hours. Once in the hospital, I actually slept overnight through labor! Naturally. I was accustomed to getting to bed early.. so I was tired! The nurse came in every so often to check my progress. At 10 am, on Tuesday, they said "You're ready to go!". Rolled me into the delivery room. Everyone was so nice. The doctor was hilarious.. cracking jokes. I'm sure it was all to keep me calm. I was fine. And before I knew it, my son was born. The nurse brought him to me and I held him while the doctor finished up. It was a wonderful experience. No problems. Baby and I were fine. Afterwards, the baby was taken to the nursery, I was back in my room and I went back to sleep for a while. Yes. I was truly blessed. Thank You, Lord. 🙏❤️ That was it for me. No more children. One-and-Done! 😄

My family always teases me that my pregnancies are the only things I have completed from start to finish without trying to bail. That isn't true, however. Trust, you, me... come 8 cm I was begging to back out... "I've changed my mind, I can always adopt!" lol. However, with each baby, as soon as I held them, even during stitches (2 V birth) and Closing (1 911 C-section and 1 planned C-section) I was already planning the next baby... "Hey, Doc! About this time next year? You up for it?" He never took me seriously... My first 3 kids are roughly 15 months between each. Doc was sure he was done with my bipolar labor and deliveries... Then, my 4th was 5 yrs after the third. Be proud mamas! Never doubt your ability and when you inevitably do, keep pushing! Don't allow others to hi-jack your Births. If you have a plan or not, you will know as things progress what your body (and the rest of you) needs. Follow your instincts. If someone you don't want is there, have the nurse ask everyone to leave. You can always call back those who you want there. If you need to rest, shower, eat, etc . If you start not wanting pain meds but change your mind when you actually experience the pain, do what is best for your body. If you are suffering your delivery will too. Obviously, there are exceptions to every birth, as no 2 are the exact same. I'm simply saying to trust yourself and listen to yourself. You know this already. We were quite literally designed for this. Be your own best ali.

My oldest son is the only pregnancy that wasn't induced, even though he was 2wks past his due date. I went running with my husband to try and induce labor. My mother had to tell me I was in active labor because I wasn't having any pains, but she saw my stomach muscles contracting. Idk if they still DON'T tell women that getting demerol through their IV is an alternative to an epidural, but it is! I went to right to sleep until it was time to push. I know every woman I've ever spoken to that's gotten an epidural has had lifelong, chronic back pain afterwards. 😑

What’s the cause when women are in early labor but the contractions are severe?
@HypnobirthingWithAnja5 ай бұрын
It could be a result of baby's position or sometimes linked to pain tolerance levels. Sometimes it could be a result of dehydration, high stress or the body running on little to no food. Sometimes you may have intense contractions but the cervix isn't opening as much as it 'should have' by a certain frequency of contractions. So, there are many factors that could influence this. Hope my answer has given you some helpful information though 💖🌹
@SheenaJizelle Жыл бұрын
Early Labor : 0-3cm Active Labor : 4-6cm You won't start really feeling those contractions till you're 4cm dilated. They usually don't admit you till you're 4cm dilated because when I went to the hospital I was 4cm dilated && that's when they admitted me. If you go to any ER they usually make you wait till you're 4cm to induce you. Some women plan the date with their ObGyn && they'll go to the ER to be induced especially if you're having a C-Section. I know because my ObGyb told me to go to the ER to get induced && I was only 1cm but I just waited till I went into active labor.

Perhaps. It is true that labor is different for every woman and even every pregnancy. Like I had back labor with my first I’m really hoping I don’t feel that again this time, because it’s just constant pain with no breaks vs. contractions where you get at least a little break in between. It still gives women an idea of how their labor will/might progress. It’s actually astonishing how many women go into their first labor completely unprepared. I was one of those. The hospitals really teach you very little and it’s hard to grasp how relevant some of the information is until you’ve been through it.

Did they induce you? My water broke at 6am but I didn’t start having painful contractions until like 6pm. No petocin; all natural until i got the epidural and eventually gave birth at around 2am.

@@evelynkirishko5407 nope. That was natural labor starting, I just had the dramatic start. I was just induced yesterday with a balloon only, followed by breaking the last little bit of my water during late active labor.

Lol it's crazy I went to the hospital at 4.5 cms wasn't feeling a thing...they burst my water bag at 6 cms still didn't feel anything I started feeling mild pain which felt like period at 8 cms the doctor/mid wife kept asking me if I'm alright because I'm so quiet but at 9 to 10 cms I was like wooooow get this baby out of me

Wow! It's amazing you felt nothing until you were nearly fully dilated. Amazing! You must have a very high pain/discomfort tolerance ❤️💪

This is how you know no cervical checks needed too invasive and unnecessary

That's really good! Sounds like you manage really well at home through your contractions and arrive in time to give birth at the hospital ❤️🌹

Don’t be scared. Your mind will get you through it. Don’t feel defeated before it starts. You got this!

I thought bouncing on the ball isn’t recommended
@HypnobirthingWithAnja2 ай бұрын
@@Keepinitreal55 it can help with back pain in labour but doing hip circles is more of a constructive way to use a birth ball in labour 👍💖
