I've been meditating now for 2-3 years and after trying a fee different people who are good too but none of them can get through to me or help as much as yourself Sarah. My body has now become accustomed to a calmer state just by hearing your voice and my little dog even recognises you too and calms with me. Thank you so much for dedicating your time/ effort into these videos as you're changing lives. You've helped me with an Eating Disorder, CPTSD, Anxiety , addiction, self worth and my health. Oh my goodness Sara. I am so loving these beautiful meditations in your series for You Are Not Broken. I practice with you daily and I feel that with every new practice your meditations are more and more moving. I absolutely loved this today and am thankful and grateful to you for sharing your light with all of us. As a neuroscience student, and naturalist, I appreciate that your meditations tend to avoid most of the "woo" nonsense. Theres evidence for cognitive benefits of hypnosis and meditation, no spirituality necessary.

Totally agree. I hate all that woo woo nonsense - which is often more about the self-absorbed guru pushing it. Sarah is wise without putting herself on a pedestal. ❤

@pixiepower9194 yeah I hate that stuff too, and it's so prevalent in meditation spaces. It's very irritating and something I personally can't tolerate. I like Sarah because she touches on some of the aspects of positive psychology(which actually IS evidence-based and helpful) without getting into the whole law of attraction-ish, "secret" style garbage. I've been using her her sleep meditations for a few years now and really love them.

It took me a long time to find a voice that wasn't whispering ridiculously, that seems almost condescending or something. I love Sara's truth and authenticity and her natural voice. She helped save me from myself, and I am so grateful for her compassion and wisdom.

If you're trying to say that garbage like law of attraction isn't, well I'm sorry to inform you but you're wrong. Not only is it unsubstantiated and ineffective, it can also be harmful because it teaches people to not take necessary action to make changes in their life, and in some cases forgo important things like proper medical treatment. There's literally been cases where people have died because of this. Seriously. I don't form my opinions based on beliefs(but sounds like you do). I form them based on peer-reviewed evidence via the scientific method.
