Team Work - HermitCraft 10 - E09 - Today on HermitCraft we're going to be taking a look at more of my house redesign! I've off camera completed the unfinished room, added a staircase to the second floor and added dormer windows to the second story as well as lowing the roof a few blocks ;) We take a look at a bamboo farm I made on stream and we get together with Ren to go in on a gold farm to help supply a bartering farm in the future! Lots of things happening in this episode, folks!

Since you're going for a modern look, a pool table could be good in that empty area. You mentioned in your last video maybe getting other hermits to help decorate, perhaps Cleo could work her armor stand magic with that?

Make the redstone pretty? Build a giant BILLBOARD infront, facing the portal hub, advertising yours/Ren's shops. Start a trend! (Like the billboards you see along the highway)

Hypno, I have a idea: I suggest that inside your attic you mount a number of sticky pistons to lower a number of the roof stairs on the Welsknight side. Behind these stairs you place dispensers full of explosive fireworks (the Cub kind). You can then fire barrages of rockets at the castle as you wish, without any visible clues. Image wels being awoken by a lot of bangs and sparkles, and you just playing innocent... "That's crazy dude, I wonder how that could happen?"

Can fireworks be launched horizontally from a dispenser? I assumed they just always shot straight up, even if the dispenser was facing sideways, though I suppose I’ve never personally tried it out.

Honestly, I think the overwhelming pink-ness is all in the saplings. If you replaced a few of them with dark oak I think it would look so good. Maybe some bamboo or flowers sprinkled in.

That room before the stairs looks perfect for a sunken enchanting setup in the floor. There's even plenty of room along the walls for chests to hold books and lapis. Something you can do on the outside of your house to break up the flat white walls is to add some faux windows. Try 2x2 trap doors or Glowing Item Frames with glass panes in them.

Something that could be fun with texturing the roof would be to make geometric patterns with different shades of green since you wouldn't want it to look "aged".

Ilmango's mini cobblestone farm might fit your needs, it's small enough to tuck away almost anywhere but not powerful enough that you need a overly crazy collection system to keep up with the output(12500/h). But on the other hand it's hard to estimate the hermits needs when you only have videos to go by...

Hypno, every time I look at your house, I think of the stucco homes with tile roofs in Florida neighborhoods. I keep expecting to see a big pool cage out the back. 🙂

The roof windows to add details, you should make them 'gables' so you get some extra wall texture in the roof form to break-up the bulk of colour.

I kind of love the idea of having a bunch of armor stands in the empty room. Maybe like a walk-in closet meets a mud room? You could show off dyed leather armor, mix and match helmets with fun trims, etc.

I like your use of the unused area of your house. Maybe a bar area in the open room with some stools would make use of some of the room. Also, if you want to break up the roof a little, you could add a veranda or terrace outdoor area with a covered seating are?

14:00 you're allowed to house items of the same theme together even if they are from different permits. I believe Grian plans to put his Prismarine and Kelp in the same building. It might be a bit of a stretch for Cobblestone and Coarse Dirt but I think you can pull it off because they're both rugged representatives of their respective materials

Hey Hypno,.....you should texture your house like using bone blocks, Mushroom stems Chiseled quartz etc to texture the walls and prismarine stairs and prismarine brick stairs with warped wooden stairs on the roof for the pillars outside walls and the sections coming out of the roof you can use Strriped warped logs and planks and also a chimney will improve the bland roof too .......Using warped fences and stairs ,chains and Soul lanterns will look good too for decorating outside ..... I think these ideas will help and making the outside look better ...

You could always build a giant block of cobblestone modelled on the normal block pixel by pixel (16x16x16). They always look impressive and nobody can fail to realise what is sold. 😂

Hello Hypno. What you did to your bass looks great. I remember you said you did not know how to do that kind of thing. & with what iJevin did to your place you learned how to make your place look great. Great job. We seen the up stares before when it was not a room at all. there was no floor at all. Cool that you made the up stares. Yes the roof looks better with the windows in it like that. SO What are you going to do about that tunnel you don't want????? That you where forest to have in your bass?? I still thing you should make a Secret Storage room that know one knows you have. Most of all you know who. Talk to Grian about how you can make your shops. Maybe, You can make 1 place that with many rooms in it like a mall, so each Permit has its own room for there store. You should of had Ren help you with all that grinding. seeing you both are making the 2 farms. lol I like seeing the build the way you to made it. I don't see any other build up there looking pretty at all so why do that to your build.

I actually think the clean walls of your house and iron farm are going to stand out in a really good way in the server, so i'd caution against texturising and shading too much with them, and if you do that try and stick to whites for the walls and blues for the roofs. I think maybe white mushroom stem or bone blocks could work quite nicely, they're not pure white like snow or white concrete, so they could work for a tiny bit of shading where the roof stretches out from the builds? White Concrete and snow could work as good highlights, maybe around windows? I dunno, i just like the clean suburban vibe you've got going this season
