It's just fact that someone who's taking care of their skin (which is just good hygiene) or taking care of themselves in general makes a person more attractive. Makeup, however is a choice. And heck you don't even need to have an 8 step skincare routine to have a good hygiene. Just take care of it... just. that. Don't argue with the "i only do makeup for me" statement when they're not the same.

Iloyed Kater Honestly I am always impressed by their skin care routines (and also skin treatments) because almost all idols have multiple schedules in one day with very bright lights(which is why they wear so much make up on) and it stays like that all day.

Probably one of the reasons why I started liking kpop and korean culture was because men there aren't afraid or ashamed to do what women do such as openly revealing that they use makeup and do skincare. They have public powder rooms for men in the subways and men do makeup ads such as foundation, blush and lipsticks!

The Societal standards are just different there than here. Wearing makeup is seen on more of the feminine side but it is still societally okay for men to do it. It is less acceptable in the west and the we shouldn’t base our expectations on their men.

@@henrynishimura4104 I use a few things. :D I like Tatcha's Deep Cleanse gently exfoliating cleanser, Water Cream oil-free moisturizer (my skin is oil-prone in the t-zone), and Sun Prise sunblock/primer combo in the morning before my makeup, then I use a mixture of coconut and jojoba oil to soften my makeup before I cleanse and follow the aforementioned steps again at night (minus the sunblock) along with Etude House Moistfull collagen cream and It's Skin Vitality formula, and twice a week I use MediHeal sheet mask.

That's exactly how folks should talk even having degrees/certifications for skincare. I feel like the only escape would be to just live alone, however I don't think anyone this young is able to live alone. I always like to keep everything on a budget since I barely get any allowance from my parents, Im not the richest person you see... my mother who brought a lot of aging products for herself probably wasted up to 2k or more. When I went out shopping and place what I wanted to buy in the cart. I c joule always feel her look of glaze telling me "why did I need this?" and telling how expensive it was when I usually try to keep the price as low as possible($50) for 4 things. So there is defiantly some favoritism running in the family. It's the same for working out also. My family critiques me for never working out. All I do is lie around playing games(which I admit I do give myself that time to just relax) but little do they actually know that whenever i'm locked inside my own room I'm actually working out and studying my ass. they take me credit off than actually what I'm doing. maybe it's becUse of the fact whenever I play I'm usually sitting outside but when i'm in my room alone it's time to get serious. seriously my family is the dumbest EQ I've ever seen. they say things that could've manipatively hurt me mentally but after all these years of putting up with everyone I've either gotten used to it or stronger that i'm not that hurt but it anymore, i literally workout more than my brother who tells me off because elf my insecurities. anyways, thank you to whoever read this all the way. ♡︎♥︎

I have multiple friends who fell into the 'big 4 trap' when they graduated and let me tell you, working for those companies is not as glamorous like everyone wants you to think. Trust me

Skin care is a health care. I love my dermatologist meticulously explaining to me (educating me) what/how/why she's doing whatever she's doing. Taught me to treat my skin like any other organ on/in the body. The end goal being healthy skin. Inside&out.
