Hyram, she should not be using the gua sha tool *after* applying her sunscreen. This will shift the protective layer that the sunscreen forms. Application of sunscreen should always be the *last* step in an A.M. skincare routine.

You wanna use something occlusive BEFORE getting in the airplane, where the air is dry, and any skin exposure WILL dry it out. But since you're gonn wear makeup... in skin prep before makeup, use a face oil, or a hydrating primer. Basically, skin prep before makeup would be key. And then maybe avoid supermatte foundations and too much powder and then do NOTHING on a flight. People keep talking about in flight skincare, but surprise, surpriiiise, doing absolutely nothing is the best way to go 😂😂😂

Hyaluronic acid is great for moisture and hyram def recomends. There's a good one by 'the ordinary' that he has recommended and I think 'the inkey list' also has a good one! Remember to moisturize and apply sunscreen since on airplanes you are closer to the sun 🌞

Hey hyram, this might be interesting for you: peppermint oil applied to Tempels and forhead has proven AS EFFECTIV AS PARACETAMOL in Placebo controlled medical trials for tension headarches. I understand that it might Not be the best for the skin (although I have never noticed any irrtation), but from a medical point of view it is very helpful and brings much needed relief without drugs. I wouldn't normally use essential oils, let alone directly on the skin, but for the analgesic effects of peppermint oil it is necessary. Hope this is helpful to somebody:)

so i dont know how hyram will feel about this but i just was looking into this question (my skin is freaking out from wearing a mask 45+ hours a week) and dr. sandra lee (i think thats her name) aka dr pimple popper said a salicylic acid mist on the mask before putting it on may help. i hope this is may help! good luck! thank you for all you are doing and risking your health and your life to help others! i appreciate it!

I use the La Roche Posay Serozinc spray during the day, when I can't wash my face and I have to change the mask, in the morning I apply the Effaclar cream. In the evening and in the morning I just wash really gently my face for about 2 minutes with Cerave SA cleanser. Hope it helps! Have a great day!

Hi Hyram! I’ve noticed you worry about people using 100% essential oils on their temples, which is totally fair, we shouldn’t do that! But usually those roller ball applicators contain a carrier oil that holds a small amount of the essential oil; so it’s not as bad, especially if it’s only used sometimes for aromatherapy. I’m pointing this out because I sometimes use peppermint & eucalyptus ess. oils (diluted in jojoba) to help with bad headaches. I only use ice cubes To calm down puffiness if I cried a lot because you know how your eyes get puffy when you cry but that’s the only time I ever used ice cubes and I wrap it up in a towel I would not recommend a paper towel because I feel like it’s still end up touching the ice cube

i recommend using a diluting oil such as coconut, castor, grapeseed, or almond oil to dilute essential oils instead of water :) it is safe to use on the skin when diluted properly

If you have oily or combination skin, do not use coconut oil though. It can cause breakouts. The safest choice is almond oil. And only apply oils and essential oils at night unless you wanna fry like potaoes in a pan with the sun. And essential oils can be extremely damaging if directly exposed to sunlight

Hi Hyram! I’m a big fan, and I wanted to say that I love Renee Rouleau’s line. I’ve used the AHA/BHA cleanser, and even though I have reactive skin, it doesn’t get red because the polish is made with jojoba pearls which dissolve (I use this cleanser mostly in the winter). She has good toners too and moisturizers/SPF and they’re great! Ps, the Vitamin C serums and other products with non synthetic fragrances aren’t super potent, and very low in the ingredient list. She has a anti-cyst spot treatment that is amazing too. I love Renée’s line and I’ve used it for over 3 years now, it saved my skin. I’d highly recommend giving some products a try!

I'm so glad someone mentioned the anti-bump/cyst treatment. I use it too, because it's the best thing I've found for the deep cysts I get. HOWEVER, I feel like it's not as effective as it used to be, since they reformulated a few years ago to remove parabens. ☹️

Sarah Accordino I have only recently tried it and I honestly love it. I think the idea of it is that it will heal blemishes sooner than they normally would on their own, not like it is supposed to be a next day heal. Also, I think the reformulation was so that it was safe enough to use on smaller blemishes, hence the rename to “anti bump” from “anti cyst.”
