Hyrox Glasgow - Baptism of Fire - First Pro Race | The Good, The Bad, and The HEAVY!

Hyrox Glasgow Pro, Scotland's second ever HYROX, and it was fricken Epic. A brutal drive up and spectacular event and a brutal drive home. Worth it? You're damn right it was. This was my first EVER go at the PRO weights, and it was bought for me just 2 months before as a surprise Christmas present by my lovely wife, giving me about 5 weeks to prepare...which wasnt really enough but into the mangle I go.
This video covers The build up, talking strategy, worries and concerns, running the race, how it felt, what I struggled on, what happened after and all the things I liked and a few things I disliked. It focuses on the step up from opens to pro.
I remain committed to creating relatable, humble Hyrox content for the great majority of participants. Its not all about flags and podiums but rather setting and beating my own times. I do not exclusively train for Hyrox, I participate in a great number of events each year across multiple disciplines so as much as I love taking part in Hyrox and Hybrid sports its not my be all and end all sport, but rather just another spoke in the wheel.
