At 1:49 you give a tip explaining how to sprint instantly, but you don't need to weak attack. All you need to do is hold dodge while mobile. This works with every character.

Right, and it turns out there’s a tutorial explaining this. My method from the Wii U didn’t work so I manually figured out this method and had made this video shortly after that. I however still prefer my way in some situations.

I am over 80+ hours in this game, no fairy, few level two weapons and no idea why i watched this.... But im glad i did thank you so very much. Im laid up from surgury and this is the closest game i could reach. I love the warriors series and this fits perfectly. I beat the 2nd game. But never knew of this until it was too late. Was curious how many stages this method took. For a 0 base stat fairy you are looking at 396 stages for the mushrooms and fairy cycling. That's just for one set of attributes too.

If you don't quit the game immediately on entering the map screen it won't work because when you exit out from it normally the game autosaves your collected status.

It's just his focus spirit ability so press R when you have enough magic meter charged.

So i have a dark fairy that i somehow got double bombos on, and if i refresh her one more time, she'll have the 5 traits needed for magic fountain+. Is it worth starting over with a fire fairy? Does a fire fairy boost the effect of bombos? And is the reason you farm gratitude crystals because any other method of maxing just takes way too long?

As someone whose finally picked this game back up and restarted. It doesn't matter; you can use ANY fairy for magic fountain+. Fire fairies are generally the best imo due to the defense down they provide.

@SerenadedArk do you mean fire fairies give an extra defense down to bombos? I now have a dark fairy with double bombos and MF+, and it's been a HUGE help in rushing through the adventure maps, but if fire fairies increase the debuff effect then id consider doing the grind again

Hey ! By any chance ( I'm a bit late to this ) would you know the FRENCH equivalents for the traits ? Because the translations in game are NOWHERE near what they mean in english, and I've already lost two fairy grinds because of this. I have no way of confirming if I have the good traits or not on my fire fairy, and I hate wasting my time. Also, can't find for the life of me anything on the internet.

Basically the crystal farm is to maximize the attributes of the fairy and get the Magic Fountain + skill? So can I give any golden food to the fairy to reach level 50 to get the crystals? Is the Trust level not necessary for the skill to work?

Trust level doesn't affect Magic Fountain+, it affects how much MP Magic Bonds restores per cast (the same percentage as your trust level). The focus on Fire food is to get Double Bombos and to increase the effectiveness of the crystal on a fire fairy.

@@caiobruno007 No, you trigger it. With max trust you can fully restore MP 3 times so it's a nice supplement to Magic Fountain/+ for those longer missions. It's also considerably easier to get so I went for that first.

Thank you for this video. That's exactly what I wanted to know about the fairies, but hadn't found anything until now. Question: If you got one or more fairies on the adventure map, then they get a red tick. How long do I have to wait before I can get the fairies again and the red tick is gone?

Any given fairy is either with you or on the map and it will always be in the same spot. There is no cooldown time, you can release a fairy then immediately recapture it on its respective mission. How many extra fairies you can keep is determined by how many maps you have completed the final story mission for. You start with allowance of 5 and there are 9 adventure maps so that's 14 fairies maximum.

This should help me a lot, i have all the squares open for this. i collected a couple extra fairies from the master quest map as well, both arent that bad for earlier players. do i need to be super quick closing the game after getting the food or do i just avoid going to another screen btw? just trying to clear some confusion is all. i did not update my game since theres no online so no patch to possibly interfere edit: it worked fine, doing well. thanks for this ! =) one thing i want to mention for people of very low level, make sure to put one character near where the hylian captain spawns midbattle. if he dies he will turn and then hylian ghost will just auto end the round. his health goes down enough very quickly so just leave someone there if you want to play it safe or if you cant route the necessities on time

Any fairy can have it. Fire fairies are more effective for Double Bombos but they aren't required for Magic Fountain+, you just need to raise the fairy enough ("enough" meaning nearly max) in a very specific set of traits which you can check at 15:24 in the bottom right.

I don't understand the situation. A fairy will always return to its original pot on release. "Refreshing" can be done at LV99 but there is no point in raising a "gratitude farming" fairy higher than 50, only fairies you intend to keep.

I used 30 gratitude crystals on my fire fairy and it did not unlock. Is there something I missed? I rewatched and saw that you changed the fairy's personality to a specific trait. I missed that. Is that important for this to work?

Absolutely important! Accessible skills are defined by those traits.

It was a weekend's work, but it was a weekend's work well spent. My Young Link just blazes through all the toughest maps like a knife through butter staying Fierce Deity most of the time. There is a better way to get food but I intend to cover that in another video. It involves the Grand Travels map.

@@neohitotile1752 I don't recall my inventory from 2018 but I believe enough information has been given by both me and the above commenter. I did make that update video I mentioned though so if you've progressed in the Grand Travels map, use that instead. It's WAY quicker!

Do fairies respawn after a while or do you get a limited number of them

A fairy is always on its map unless you've collected it. If you release it you can get it from there again, there's no cooldown time. It'll be reset though so this is something you do with the ones you're farming gratitude crystals from, not the fairy you're trying to raise.

Well...i know a other Adventure Mode mission or if you're lucky enough, you can get more that 1 suspect mushroom. Mission or we must beat 3 Dark Cya...no excuse-me...12 Dark Cya ! ...ok she's can drop silver/gold suspect mushroom but still...it's from this mission i farm this

Yeah, there’s an extra farm spot on C1 (A3) as well on this map. I showcased this stage for easy access and mission speed.

King-X ^^ But problem : it's on Lorule map and say-access is very soon so...if you want this mission : prepare yourself to level up many of characters and pick decent weapons with skills

I’ll give it a look if I decide to go for Special Fountain+. As Young Link can convert it into MORE magic he’d be beyond overkill! Actually I recall a division mission in Lorule, I don’t remember if it was Cia but it was a piece of cake with my LV255 Fierce Deity so this should be very viable for me, thanks.

i think its patched, you cant farm that mushroom quit and refarm. Game reset dont reset the mushroom loot ingame.

I don't know anything about any patches as this is a 2018 video and I haven't played since then. The video is posted on a "worked at the time of upload" basis.
