I really love the new designs, mindless bugs are a boring enemy, bugs that are more alien like and intelligent are a much more interesting enemy and their new designs lend to that idea

For people wondering why they changed the style of scaraks, it's because back in the day the hytale community had the idea that the scaraks They would live on that sand planet in hytale worlds concept art,When in fact they were thought to be Insects That they live in the desert part of orbs is my theory and that the hytale development team had not planned anything for the sand planet, So they took advantage of the fans' idea and remodeled the scaraks to be more like Aliens, And now in addition to living on the sand planet they also somehow ended up in orbs.

Love the new design but hate the colors, if they go back to the old colors with the new model then the scaracks will be perfect. Myne made a photo shop of the new scaracks tank with the old colors and it's perfect

The new design looks good. I like the idea of expanding the Scaraks' lore by incorporating alien elements. But I prefer the ruggedness of the old design. Agreed, at least they should bring back the old colors.

The colors that appear on the model do not represent what it will look like in the game. The designs and colors will look better once we see them in their environment.

My honest opinion, Warrior: New model is better but the textures of the old one is better Locust: Looks more like a fighter drone than a bug so i prefer the older one Tank: The new tank is really great but once again the colors and textures of the older is better Worker, Larva: Awesome aswell but since it has no model I think the comment on textures would be the same. The new Scarak variants, I would prefer if they refrain from making one eyed scaraks. They should rather use odd eye numbers instead of just a single eye. so for example for the first new variant instead of a single big eye maybe 3 or 5 eyes with the middle one a little bigger than the other 2. I love the environments and the idea of the blue liquid that acts as their life source. I like how they are trying to make the look of the scaraks fit their lore being intelligent creatures but i hope they fix the textures because the new ones look so weird.

Agreed! I also prefer the old design. It's more rugged. But I also like the idea of expanding the lore of the Scaraks by incorporating an alien element. They hint that the Scaraks are from another planet. It would be great to visit their planet, like in the movie Aliens )))

I think that the larva are the workers, because in the concept art they are working as well, then become the warriors and everything, that's why scaraks are that aggressive so they can use all that military force that forms when larva worker grow up.

While the new model has a good design, I believe the previous version had its own unique charm. Instead of entirely replacing the old model, it would be more beneficial to keep both versions of Scarak, perhaps assigning each to different zones.

Old Designs = Evil-Aligned insects who are all about expanding their empire and will eat and devour / enslave anyone who gets in their way. New Designs = We're alien rock elementals with an insect theme, we're probably from League of Legends.
