Is it possible that this frame 19:33 is showing that Sig & Curry were strays begin with. Who after nearly dying needed a heart transplant. Who was the donor? It was Curry of course. That would not only explain why Sig seems to have gone from lovers to haters but also why Curry seems to be mostly robotic. They literaly gave their heart to save Sig at the cost of their own life. I always interpreted Maya being more motherly towards the mice rather than them being servants, the only moment I think can be used as a counter argument is the mice bowing but I think that looks more like them falling over. she’s my favorite character in these shorts since she seemed to be very gentle towards smaller creatures in general (most notably the mice but their was a bee that danced on her paw in one short) in the short “metal sheet dance” she seems to be occasionally grabbing the mouse to keep them more safe before the mouse protests and is let go. I interpret her as being initially kinda scary to the mice since she’s a cat but she’s nice to them and they warm up to her.

thanks, you really helped with more theories i have, more shorts have some depth into them. I think a short you should look into is Daten route. This one short gave me more backstory and things that could potentially add more. I have more recommendations for other shorts, but for now, we need more info. Well at least I do.

This a really good and in-depth analysis of the multiple events that happen in these shorts and regular videos, but I honestly think that most are just references memes that were relevant at the time and that future videos just happened to have similar aspects to one another that ligned up into these posible tellings of their stories, but until salt posts something that EXPLICITLY shows some kind of lore not related to any form of other relevand and/or popular media at the time I really doubt it's lore.

Maya in my opinion is the most interesting of the group. She is literally able to turn into a fluffy eyeball resembling something like a biblically accurate angel. Although she seems to be on the influencer side, she does TikTok dances, lip syncing and is just overall seemingly normal. She also only turns into the eyeball thing in one video “strike a taunt, cat!” so it seems like she is hiding the fact that she can do that to seem more relatable and cute. I also think the bread girl and the parasol girl are the same person. They both have no true skin colour and they wear the same shoes. I also think maya and salgu have the same owner, if not maya just hanging around the area in which salgu lives. I think this because they are shown interacting with each other multiple times, plus they are very similar. Also had to do a lot of digging on this, but maya, Joe/amogus, salgu, sig also have 3-D models. It was just never used but maybe in the future it might appear The gray cat who just disappeared after the Toca Toca dance video also has a 3-D model.
