Only problem with CRDI is the direct injection of fuel in the cylinders leading to carbon/sludge buildup in the top portion of valves and fuel inlet portions. So carbon cleaning is mandatory periodically. And happy to see you back on the roads Anna!

I have driven both pre-upgraded version of Creta and Seltos but as a driving enthusiast I enjoy Seltos compared to creta. Overall stance, interiors, exteriors are way higher in Seltos. I own Diesel Seltos as well. As rightly mentioned, This 1.5 liter CRDI engine in Hyundai and Kia is one of best refined reliable engine in India. Prices of mid SUV’s are higher because of unjustifiable tax rates (inc RTO) close to 50% from ex-showroom price. PS: This is based on my own experience and interest.

Hi Asir Sir today i test drived diesel creta. Break is negative. 4 wheel disc brake. But spongy break. Your point absolutely Right. Then stearing feed back (weight) better now. And suspension also very good

Eager for your petrol IVT test drive and verdict. Being predominantly a sedate driver myself, would love to know how frugal it is going to be. Sales people are giving unreal numbers for a 1.5L NA engine with CVT. Also curious about the highway cruising, does it feel floaty, does it have that same soft braking feel, does it have a contained noise dive, etc. Your findings can help me with making an informed decision.

Yes definitely hearing 1.5 NA petrol with CVT is the highest selling than deisel becoz in other 2years time we wont know the future of Deisels and turbo petrol is peppy but very poor mileage and some other turbo lag issues with DCT

My Observation 1. For taller people, it's difficult to sit if we increase the driver seat height. 2. Info display width becomes reduced due to integration with inst. display. 3. Reflection of the dashboard in the windscreen during daytime driving. 4. The alternator enclosure in a petrol vehicle is not completely closed. Dust and water enter into the coil possibly. 5. The lighting power of the head light is average only. Improvement needed. Opposite vehicle lighting is dominating. Couldn't see the road clearly. 6. Emergency button to be checked whether it's connecting to the Hyundai call centers. Past exp. is bad. 7. In a petrol vehicle, I felt more open space is provided in the engine cabin. Possibility for entry of snakes, reptiles, rats etc. 8 Few more observations done. Will be added during petrol test drive.
