@herreraschannel8930 Жыл бұрын
@@sylviagriffen639 this only works on manual car. the model of your clutch master cylinder might be different from mine as it is 2005.

Thanks, I just replaced my clutch master cylinder, car is 13 years old 172k miles, it solved the gears crunching when I put on reverse. The hole was very worn out. BTW, there is a bleeder screw on the slave cylinder.

@@herreraschannel8930 hey actually just one question, where is the clutch bleeder valve on the transmission? I was unable to find mine. I would legit be so grateful if you made a video explaining it
@herreraschannel89302 жыл бұрын
@@threedaysgracefanful there are 2 ways of bleeding it one on the master clutch cylinder and one infront of your engine almost in the middle part its hard to see it on top, you have to see the location underneath then open the valve from the top.

Hey! Thanks for the video. Hey do you know why would the clutch pad will wear out after replacing the master cylinder?
@w4rf4c392 жыл бұрын
It wouldn’t. The clutch pad likely was on it’s last leg. I suspect my clutch disc but I see my master leaking. I’m going to replace the master cylinder but anticipate having to also do the clutch if this doesn’t take care of it

I just recently had my slave and master cylinders replaced. I was able to get pressure in the clutch after the repair but after sitting overnight, the problem with no pressure came back. My mechanic and i are really confused why this happened. Do you have any experience with this?

Hi, Thanks for making this video. Yesterday, I was driving my elantra MT. I was on full stop and when the traffic light turned green, I had difficulty switching from neutral to first gear. I turned off my engine for 10secs, and started it again. The clutch went up automatically and I was able to switch the gear to 1st gear

I will say that if you replace this and are capable, fitting a metal bushing in the master cylinder rod wouldn't hurt. they wouldn't wear out if they weren't made from plastic or at least had a bushing. such a silly issue.
@herreraschannel89302 жыл бұрын
Yes that's what I thought but when I did that the center of the hole is not accurate it is in off position. Now it is starting to wear out again. That plastic rod.
