Every year for four years I come back to this video. I have two keys for my Elantra so when the battery runs out, I switch keys then proceed to replace the battery for the dying one. Even though at this point I have a sense of what needs to be done, I still come back to this video for some quick guidance because it’s short, straightforward, and to the point. So easy, even had a pack of CR2032 batteries already. Admittedly on first reassemble I had put the battery in facing the wrong way, light still didn't flash. Popped it back open and flipped the new battery around, which also shows you the + sign underneath (duh). Woohoo, working key! Thank you!

Love this. Had always been told I had to use a screw driver to pry this apart for Hyundai. Was out of town and didn’t want to buy a screwdriver and figured that someone has to have a video where you can use the Key to pop open like on my Kia and voila. @@RanmVel Use the fob to press the ignition button. There is usually enough power in the fob battery to start the car when the fob and the sensor are in direct contact.
