Sir I can’t thank you enough! I replaced the #1 coil and my car is running smooth like butter👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿😁😁😁!! When I turn the air on, or I’m at a light, it doesn’t shake like it’s an earthquake 😂 So I appreciate u! I still need to get this damn check engine light off, but I’ve been told if I unplug the negative wire of the battery for a minute, that should do it! Thx again

my 2017 Sonata will have a dead miss from #2 while on the expressway or Interstate. Only happens at random, could be months before it does it again. It only lasts 30-45 seconds, check engine light comes on, but goes off and clears up on its own. Suggestions?

It could be a corrode slack of a crack in the root of one of the ignition Coils

What would be the spark plug gap for a 2017? Also, I have a misfire on cylinder 1 and cylinder 4 and I just replaced my plugs about two weeks ago. I took out my ignition coils and the second one from the left I had a bad odor and some discoloration to it. Do you think that one coil could have caused both misfires? Or maybe my plugs that I just installed were bad from the start?

@MrtalentedReid4 жыл бұрын
As a rule of thumb, you should replace your spark plugs in intervals of 20,000 to 40,000 miles, based on how often you use your vehicle and the kind of car that you drive.
I took my 2014 Hyundai Elantra to have the engine light checked. The code showed that cylinder 1 has a misfire because from the coil faulting. I would usually replace all at one time but 4 can cost close to $200. Is is possible to replace just the one for now? And if so do you think it will correct the issue?
