Well, I ve been waiting for such review. Great Job Rohan. I happen to test drive the petrol variant and I should say that it is impressive. The steering has improved and ride too has got much firmer than the previous generation but it still has got that something which is in the DNA of every Hyundai i.e bumpy rear. You always feel that you fly a Km high at speeds above 140 when you are sitting in the rear. Well the previous generation would take us a mile high. Has got some improvements. And breaks also has improved. It's a really GOOooooood Car.

My father had been asking me, why aren't you writing for PowerDrift these days and I told him they aren't releasing any videos these days as they are working on some dope ass projects and I guess it is the nascense and one shall expect some action packed, adrenaline infusing days ahead. But let's talk about the one which has just started. Chilled Sunday morning, squirmed under the quilt, unplug the phone and then you remember PowerDrift had uploaded a video a day earlier. You run for your earphones, toss the video in full HD and aloof yourself from the world. Eyes glued to the screen and ears to earphone (not literally), and you hit the play button. And you set your foot in a 12 minute cinematic journey which shall alleviate your senses. A story being portrayed in typical PowerDrift style, exceptional cinematography, top notch editing, appeasing color grading and an impeccable screenplay. The beautiful environs of the highway the magnanimous landscapes, the sunset and the aerial shots can take an afficionado's heart away. Teh Hut has always been a great host but it's a delight to see him do his job so darn effortlessly, he just adds a silver lining to the whole thing and ups the quality a several notches. Have written too much for a comment but still feel that I curtailed the actual praise this team should get. I remember in your previous elantra review you said that it's not a car in which you feel that you have"arrived" somewhere in life. My question is still the same... Does this elantra makes it feel that the buyer has reached some milestone in his life. My 2011 skoda laura has all the features of this elentra & same engine power (expect the fancy av screen). So what Hyundai has updated themselves with is a mystery. between a 2015 honda accord or the 2017 hyundai elantra, which one is more reliable even over 100k? im getting a new car next month and i'm choosing between those two. looking for reliability more than anything else, but i don't really like toyota's otherwise i'd get one. I've heard honda's have always been reliable, and hyundai's used to have a low reliability rate, so i'm really curious about the newer models that i've heard are better.

PowerDrift my answer is no. I'm a diesel fan and would have given it a thought if it had 150 horses. they really need to improve the power of the diesel.

Both of them belong to different segments comrade. The Elantra is positioned above the Verna, and is more expensive as well.
