Whats the point of wireless charger if you don't have wireless Android auto support? One would anyway need a cable to connect the phone with infotainment unit.

The wireless pad will hopefully offer better charging speeds than the cable, which now is solely needed for data transfer/screen mirroring. This is not to say that wireless smartphone mirroring shouldn't have been offered

Carwale- Why it's not suitable for highways please explain? I have booked this already and my usage would be more on highways. Earlier i had grand i10 with same kappa engine and that performed reasonably well in highways. I selected exter over punch only because of 4 cylinder engine. Can someone explain why it's not suitable for highways????

The base colour for the interior is always black regardless of the variant or exterior colour chosen But the interior highlights (A/C vent surrounds, seat piping, seat contrast elements etc.) change according to the exterior colour chosen. For example, if you choose the Cosmic Blue and Cosmic Blue with Black Roof dual-tone option, the interior gets cosmic blue inserts/highlights. While we are yet to have a proper look at all the options available, it seems like the interior offered with the Starry Night/Fiery Red/Atlas White/Titan Grey exterior colours - which get Silver inserts/highlights - will feel the most airy

Then you should wait for the Tata Punch CNG. Just like the Altroz CNG, it will also get twin-cylinder CNG system which frees up boot space without compromising on capacity

Enjoy the car you have now, the i20 DCT is a good car. If you worry about what may happen in the future, you will never enjoy the present and what it offers. Or, if the Exter is a great fit for your needs - get one on exchange. You should get a loyalty bonus too!

In the older G-NCAP tests, the Tata Punch scored 5 stars for adult occupants. Since the Grand i10 Nios scored 2 stars, we expect the Exter would at least score the same. Hyundai claims it has improved the crash structure and offers more safety equipment, so maybe it will be better. But this is all conjecture, not fact.

Agreed, but Indian arms of foreign car companies pay royalties to their parent companies, usually 2-4% of their revenues. Usually this is a few hundred million dollars a year. So yes, Hyundai does create jobs in India, they have invested in India etc. And this is much appreciated. But being Indian brand still has some value, it's not 0.

Exter would be best product in terms of value for money. Buying car is easy but maintenance is more important. We all know the build quality of TATA products, but their service and after sales support is not on par with hyundai. I do not blame TATA completely they just need to improve in service and support aspect. If you want only, i mean ONLY build quality but nothing else then go for TATA. Otherwise choose exter as it has 6 airbags standard which dramatically increases the saftey, addition to that exter has more features and engine advantages than Altroz. Every car has its own positive and negatives, same goes with brand. Test drive both and Choose as per your preference of things.

If safety is a priority, the proven numbers for the Altroz should make it a slam dunk option for you. For almost every other criteria, the Exter makes more sense.

I previously owned harrier. Multiple issues poped up one by one I haven't got proper solution from the team. At last I sold it on Feb 23. We all have opinions and experience brother. We need more healthy competition in industry, so that people will get better products.

Look's like you already own a tata punch. That being said punch is a good car and so is exter. It depends on individuals preference. although safety should be a top reason to buy a car but then so are features as well. I mean you want that feel good thing when you drive right. And surviving a crash is very subjective it has a lot of other factors apart from the NCAP so don't just bash the car. Be that as it may I agree punch could be considered more safe and let's just see how exter scores in NCAP
