As you can see after he started car then checked oil level number one you check level before you start engine. But when he had checked dips tick you could still see black oil at tip of dip stick which means the sump needed a clean and the oil lifter needed replaced

i believe either 1.4L or 1.6L as both these engines take around 3.3 litres of oil.
