I own a Grand i10 Asta Diesel 2018. Superb car to drive and stupendous fuel average. I’ve gotten close to 29 kmpl on a 250 km drive once. Regular mileage is about 18-20 km per liter of diesel in the city. Price is rather steep though for a car this size.

Team, Great video. I am still confused between the Tiago XZ and the i10 Sportz as there is huge price difference. And the Tiago will have more features than the i10. However, I am not sure about the maintenance costs and after sales service of both the cars. Can you shed some light on that please? Mine will not be a daily usage. DDIS & CRDI is the same technology with a different name and the basic technology is CRDI (Common Rail Direct Injection engine) various automakers market them using different names Maruti uses DDIs, Fiat uses Multijet, Hyundai uses CRDi at the end its all CRDI diesel engine that's the latest and best diesel engine technology.

The new petrol engine puts the Figo back in contention and there are no major downsides now apart from the fact that the Figo doesn’t feel modern and upmarket despite the updates. +dipen patel Hyundai Grand i10 comes with a 43 Litres tank and the exact amount of fuel left in cars varies from car to car but the last fuel indicator bar starts blinking when there is around 3-4 litres fuel left in the tank. How long will it go depends on the mileage of the car and driving style.

CarDekho My pick is diesel variant and in diesel variant no automatic gearbox. The manual gearbox on the diesel variant is not bad in any way, but I prefer a diesel automatic coz I will drive mostlyin the city. Secondly the size of compass is not very big....it's almost like Renault duster n price is almost double.... thirdly rear seat is a bit cramped for 3 adults....last n final point ...the list of features is far less. For the price range, one would expect cruise control, auto headlamps & wipers, sunroof or even leather seats.

+rizviz Hey, yes the Compass does have some missing features and the third row isn't 3 person friendly. Since you're looking for a diesel AT, take a look at the Tata Hexa XTA. Very polished 6-speed AT gearbox, spacious car and very practical too. Check out the Hyundai Tucson as well. You may have to stretch your budget a bit, but see how much you can push the dealer for a discount.
