@@DigitalDissident "I respect anyone who doesn't drive a stupid SUV. " WHY? SUV (ok crossover) consumes as much fuel as Hyundai i20 does, which is small to. In the city suv is better and it shape doesn't matter at speed one drive in the city.
@DigitalDissident4 жыл бұрын
People buy SUVs because they want to sit higher or they just think bigger is better & have never heard of wagons. As a car enthusiast who likes good handling, speed, & style, I could never justify an SUV unless I became obese, disabled, or had a large family. Also, SUVs & Pickups block the road visibility for people in normal sized cars behind them. SUVs make pedestrians harder to see especially in dense city areas where they line the curbs. They're a rapidly depreciating, exceptional waste of gas, & most of them are just used as commuter vehicles or grocery haulers.
@infeltk4 жыл бұрын
@@DigitalDissident I don't see connection between obese and SUV. I wouldn't care of blocking visibility to because a) i would see more (cyclists, traffic lights) and other can buy SUVs too. "They're a rapidly depreciating, exceptional waste of gas" nonsense, Hyundai Tucson depeciates slower than Ford Focus. My friend's Tucson consumes as much fuel as my smaller I20. What wrong is with bigger car when it consumes the similar amount of fuel, is more comfortable, and can be used in many scenarious: in the city, on the motorway, in vacation with whole family and more bags? It is better than buy one big comfortable car and one smaller to use in the city.

@larrybxl54064 жыл бұрын
@@eirini_ziavrou The i10 is a city car, so not really designed for long distance motorway driving. The 1.2L petrol engine with 87 bhp is perfect for normal driving up to about 120 km/hr, but not above that speed. Where I live (Canary Is, Spain) there are few motorways but we do have several highways with 90 km/hr roads and the i10 is just fine for that. Most of my driving is between 40-90 km/hr and the i10 is perfect for this. Also the 5 speed manual transmission and gear shift is excellent, as is the steering/handling. Its also a very economical car with excellent fuel consumption. I usually get 12-14 km/L, with std 95 petrol. I have had my i10 for >3 yrs and I have no regrets, its been an excellent little car! I plan to keep it until its at least 5-6 yrs old. If you want an i10 with more power, I think that Hyundai have come out with a new sports version this year with a new engine that puts out about 100 bhp. That would be more than ample power even on the motorway.

I've been waiting for this specific review for some time now.. But I was hoping it would be with the 84 hp engine.. I really wonder what to expect from it on highways ... any ideas ? Nice review btw , detailed and fun.
@shubham_yadav16114 жыл бұрын
I have the 4 cylinder 84 hp automatic. 0-100 kph is around 12 seconds, and it can cruise easily around 110 kph on highway even on slight inclines. The gearbox automatically shifts you down to 4th gear though if you are on incline. Top speed I managed where the car wasn't vibrating was around 130 kph and it'll go to 150 or so if you really push it. It's not that fast, but certainly better than this one.

@@shubham_yadav1611 Many thanks for your comment. Are you confident to take it for a longer trip then (say 300 km) or do you feel that you would be torturing it ..? -I think you just answered that , thanks again.
@shubham_yadav16114 жыл бұрын
@@stergiosspat8562 300km would be pretty easy to do. 500+ and you'll have to take a couple rests since this isn't as comfortable as high end cars. I'd highly suggest the automatic. You'll have to change gears quite a lot on small engines with a manual.

2:55 "But being a hyundai it will probably stick perfectly fine"... My brother had an I20 bough it new and after 1 year all the buttons in the steering wheel stopped working, the right electric mirror got stuck and only makes breaking noises when trying to open or close the mirrors, the engine developed a random and erratic wobble when idling and almost everything in the interior started creaking and rattling. And let's not talk about the lack of power and the fuel consumption... Needless to say my brother got ride of it in the second year because the dealer were such a scam and always found some excuse to get out of fixing the car's problems.

@@tushargupta1764 The car came with a service plan and he followed it to the letter because it was already paid for. Also I'm a car enthusiast I maintain my cars myself and I never had a car that started falling to pieces in the first year. I'm pretty sure it's more of the car's problem than maintenance or maybe you know more and can tell us how the lack of maintenance would cause the multifonction steering wheel and the radio to break in the first year?

@@abdbach379 most of the Hyundais ARE very reliable. Yours might be a defective piece.
@abdbach3794 жыл бұрын
@@tushargupta1764 Maybe compared to a tuktuk. their electronics are nowhere near as reliable. people wonder why their cheap care have a lot of electronic features and they don't know how they're made and most buy their cars for only 2-3 years or on a lease so they exchange them as soon as the new models come out so they thin they're reliable. there is a reason those cars have 4 years limited warranty, because they start falling to pieces just after seen it too many times. So sorry if i'm not a fanboy who believes anything about their favourite brand.
@tushargupta17644 жыл бұрын
@@abdbach379 No one on earth buys a tuktuk for personal use. It is used for commercial use which mostly replaces taxis and rickshaws. And tuktuke don't have any significant features. They are simply driven by a driver who takes passengers from point A to Point B.

I don't care two bits about cars, they need to be reliable, cheap and economical. I've had an Aygo for a few years now and done 100.000km without a single problem on it, so time to change it to something new. This is actually a nice little car with lots of goods in it.
