Worked for vw and had 3 up gti as demo. Now I work at Hyundai and have had the i10 nline for a few days. To drive there really isn't much in it at ALL, both extremely fun. Love the touch screen in the Hyundai and rear camera, but in the UP I love the heated seats and gti trim. The UP edges it In my experience, but Hyundai do a very very good job with their version and it's not far behind 👍

Bought this car just before christmas. This is the best car I have had. I have full tech pack also. Very nippy, sticks to the road like glue. Was going to go for a VW Up but if i had all the technology which I have in the i10 N Line, it would of cost £2000 more. so a no brainer. I would recommend this car, it is fun to drive.

The lane-keeping on the N-Line i10 isn't just an audible warning; it's active. Provided it has a good enough view of the road markings it will actively steer to keep you in lane. It can also be set just to warn you if you're not a fan; as it uses a camera, it also tells you if the car in front has moved off from a stop. The N-Line also has cruise control giving you very basic autonomous driving functions.

How about a review of the automatic gearbox? How is the automatic on this car? Also how is the lower powered engines performing? Is the manual gearbox the same on all versions?

Yes, but you have to do it manually every time after turning on the engine, there is no possibility ti shut it down permanently

Just bought this car today and felt like I was kangaroo driving all the way home. I couldn’t get used to the pedals at all. The brake is super sensitive. I hope it gets easier!

Yes that’s interesting and not considered that (thinking all modern cars must have a 4/5 Star rating). Discovered that VW UP! Also has a 3 Star rating as does a Toyota Aygo in standard spec. Must be typical of cars this size?

Same here. My next car is probably a straight choice between this one and the similar Picanto GT but the submarining issue with the seatbelt on the i-10s NCAP test put me right off. I'd guess it is to do with the seatbelt mounts and is easily resolvable but Hyundai remain silent on the issue which is a bad sign.

@@loader4591 I had a serious double crash in Aygo a few months ago, and it took it pretty well, I mean car was no repairable but I suffered basicly no damage except for broken thumb and some minor burns from the explosion of airbag/seatbelts pirotechnic charges. But from what I saw Aygo had a much better performance in crashing tests than a i10 series despite having only 3 stars. Do not look on the stars - compare real crusing by watching crust test, they are made on very comparable standars.

The the one to get is the KIA Picanto GT-line S version. It does the 0-60 dash quicker and it doesn't look like a pimp-mobile.

@victor marian not in the UK unfortunately. The premium has heated seats and steering wheel but the N Line doesn't. For a 1 litre engine it guzzles a lot of petrol too! My old car was more economical on petrol even though it had a bigger engine...1.2

@victor marian I was only getting 37mpg instead of the 52 it claims to give you around town which is a heck of a difference. Now that I've done nearly 1000 miles I'm getting a bit more. I got as much as 51 so I'm happier. Someone at the dealership advised thst I switch to premium unleaded as it burns better than the regular unleaded and yhe manual recommends Shell petrol do next time I fill up I'll go to Shell and put in premium then compare

Dude UP doesn't come with basic functions so when you start adding them like parking camera, infotainment etc it'll cost a lot more than N line
