Why is it only a "city" car? It's a car, and it can go anywhere any other car can go, especially with the 1.2L engine. Most speed limits are around 70-80 mph even on the quickest roads, so the i10 can easily keep up with traffic. I wish the motoring media would stop this silly "city" car obsession. My i10 can take 2 up plus luggage anywhere in Europe with zero problems. It is as comfortable as any other car and does not feel at all cramped. But according to the motoring press I can only drive around "cities". It's ridiculous!

I got one today. 2020 year. 4300 miles on it. 10 thousand pounds. It's mint. Basically a new car and I love it. It's the 66bhp engine which isn't fast but fast enough for our roads and very nice to drive. Comfortable, easy to maneuver. Great little car

I also reviewed the Hyundai i10 in my channel, and I must say I found this to be far more reliable than the Fiat 500, and more interesting than the Volkswagen Up! The Hyundai i20 I quite desirable!

In overseas city crossing means trespassing from one country to another and that is why it is actually meant for and built for that only and trust me it serves with ease 🌹🌹

I have fun on windy country roads in my Mk 2 - 1.2 Premium. Not sure why the reduced the BHP in the Mk 3, so I'll go for the N-Line if and when I am ready to upgrade

Maybe a visit to the optician is recommended for you, since you clearly can't see that legroom is Not at a premium. At least not for this class. I mean, for its size, its bloody massive

Buyers of NEW cars be very careful - The software installed in the latest version of Hyundai i10 to implement Intelligent Speed Limit Assist is unable to recognise the UK national speed limit sign. This means drivers of the new i10 get repeated audible speed limit warnings (very annoying and distracting) when they drive on a road where the national speed limit applies (Motorway, dual carriageway or single carriageway) as the car does not recognise the national speed limit sign and will assume the previous speed limit sign still applies (e.g. 30 / 40 or 50 mph). My Hyundai dealership has requested a software update from Hyundai but they do not know when this will be received (nor did the dealership warn me about the problem before I bought my new car). Carparks with speed limits (5 or 10mph) are also a BIG problem as there is normally no sign when you exit the carpark so the car still thinks the 5/ 10mph speed limit applies on the road. You then get an audible speed limit warning every time the car exceeds 5/10mph until the camera sees a new speed limit sign. This can be several miles later if the carpark is located within a 30mph zone. If there are multiple sets of traffic lights / roundabouts before the new speed limit sign the driver will get repeated warnings every time the car exceeds 5/ 10mph even though the correct speed limit is 30mph. I have to drive 2.5 miles with over 20 audible speed limit warnings before the car's camera sees another speed sign and reverts to the correct speed limit. This is extremely distracting and spoils what would otherwise be a great little car. Speed Limit Assist can be disabled, but requires scrolling through multiple menu options which should not be attempted while driving and turns back on every time the engine is started. Until this is resolved by Hyundai I would buy an older model - not a 2023/24 model.

Why would anyone purchase one of these or any car in the A segment when you can pick up a B segment car like a Mazda 2 that's a couple of years old for the same price and reliability? It will ride much better on B roads, motorways etc, have a more powerful engine, and being in the segment above, making it a better all-round choice.

I test drove the i10 a couple of weeks ago and the engine kept cutting off every time I stopped at traffic lights or junctions etc. I had to rev it to stop this happening which was an awful pain. I googled this problem and found that others have had this problem. Otherwise loved the car and would buy it. Is this a long term problem with the i10?
