I10 nios comes with hydraulic clutch or normal cable clutch ?

I recently got an I10 2011, 1.2 petrol, had it serviced very recently. I asked about the clutch as it's really unforgiving and bites badly and my mechanic said there cables not hydraulic. They's why they bite badly. Will see about getting it replaced sometime as it's hard to use, got about 2 cm of play before it even grabs.
