I20 n line is just better in looks, features,power and interior and hyundai is way more reliable than tata. And quality control is wayyyyy better. Edit: the only two things the tata has the advantage are its safety and 360° degree camera

@@gb649 one example.. they compared a Manual Racer and a DCT Nline and claimed Racer is better in lap times and 0-100 time.. It’s like their whole video, was simping for Racer and felt like a promotion video rather than a pure comparo.. I am glad autocar didn’t go on the same path as Evo

@@gb649 they tested the i20 N line, Fronx turbo, and altroz racer around I try with Narain Karthikeyan as the racing driver, and came to the conclusion that the Altra racer is the fastest among the three, but the Achilles heal was that they took a year older i20 n line dct , which is significantly slower off the line and unnecessarily had the fronx turbo in the mix where they said it has body roll🤓🤓🤓. And the altroz racer was the fastest allegedly. Ps. Narain Karthikeyan was partnered with by Tata for promoting the sporty altroz racer

It's been 2 years since i bought TATA Altroz DCA but till now they didn't even given me the remote to unlock the car. At the time of delivery by stateing chip shortage they given me a note saying they will give me the key in 6 months. Now even after 2 year and after several visits to dealership, they say they can't give me the key for the car i paid my hard earned money and they said if you want go and take your key from TATA directly.

And their customer care agents are just for name sake, they called me 5 times because of 5 social media posts. All the 5 calls where similar. They ask what's the issue, then they will say they are going to connect dealership in call and asks us to wait, later they say that they didn't accepted the call so they are escalating the issue to higher authorities. After these 5 calls(in past 6months) no updates or no progress. They will only make fool out of you 🤡

Meanwhile me with tata Nexon creative plus s dark edition petrol manual I'm super happy with the car i will recommend it to buy Service is good in my area and i check 2 other services centres with my friends tata punch just to check quality both are pretty good Dont believe in social media tata is selling soo many cars so 95% are fine but 5% are bad and faulty and the customer reports about it and makes videos on youtube so the social media is full of bad reviews of tata service Tata is improving a lot My friend has a tata punch from 2022 and is still happy with the car

Where are you from? Can you share some expeirience about the car and the issues or advantages? Ive had the legendary safari dicor VX 3L and never gave me issues. Really reliable. I did a solo round trip from mumbai to kargil via manali and return via srinagar. Close to 7k kms in 14 days. All possible climates and terrain on that trip in 2022. Some videos are on this channel. Safari dicor 2006 she never gave a me a issue. I really love the altroz so thinking about the R1 as i dont like sunroofs.

Better review than some other channels. Well put together and summarized nicely. I so wish that Tata had actually spent more time on putting a proper gearbox in the Altroz and tuning it to the engine. A good gearbox would have made Altroz better than I20 even if slower in straight line but in corners it would have pulled back. But Instead, as with all new Tata products, they are more focussed on just features and looks instead of performance. Altroz Racer packs all the features and looks great (except for those stripes which anyhow can be removed at detailing store) but the gearbox is a let down. 😢 I was so waiting for this as the looks specially interiors of I20 never grew on me.

Yes, as a racer Nline is faster, better pickup and torque, better gearbox too. But my question is different. Practicality plays a huge role in India. If u want sales, give practicality, and Altroz wins it. As other youtubers called it out, Altroz is not a racer, its a GT. Go on a long drive on the Altroz ul love it. The only place where it lacks is there isnt any automatic. nLine is 2 yrs old now, we have seen no high sales during last 1 year, also most of the people who I know have already sold it back. In almost evey 2nd hand car garage ul fne at least 1 i20 or even an nLine version available. Why is that I wonder ? Lets see what TATA has to offer, 6 months down the line we will understand

I had altroz for two years I drive 61k km in two years now i have i20 n line There have alot of difference with them If you are a daily user its better to have i20 its give better comfort and drive experience is very smooth in the other have altroz gives alot of powerfull and heaviness feelings in drive But i suffered gear shifting problems and battery problems alot of Times. Specially the gear shifting problem. Now 25k km running in my i l20 n line have no issues

I think TATA's biggest is a miss of DCA on it....Rest I drove the old altroz probably for 150kms. and trust me it feels amazing both in terms of high speed stability or tackling bad patches of roads or overtakes (obviously it was the 1.5 T.D)

Gearbox and clutch modulation has always been issue for Altroz and Tata in general. NA engine is not suitable for this car given it's weight. Go for diesel if you go for Altroz

That "record" you say. Please go check autocard track day lap time of i20 n line & Altroz's "record" run lap time. Spoiler Alert.... Altroz is hilariously slower. If they had a I20 n line Manual that day, lap time would've been much better...because manual gearbox puts down power much aggressively.

High speed cornering will be much better in altroz.Tata's usp is always been safety and handling not engine performance.Altroz's aerodynamic design lesser height more weight offers Higher grip lesser body roll compared to Hyundai. Straight line performance is better in hyndai. If i had a chance i will go for Altroz diesel instead which offer efficiency, power, good engine performance.

@noprobotxd3 meh na altroz for 2 years yet to face these stereotypical jokes. Performance is purely about how drivers can direct. If you're confident, then believe me the car is more confident. You won't fall off the line, so if you know ur 0-60 u should plan accordingly. Aur na india mai 40-60 mph matter karta hai for overtaking. 100 ke upar toh as long as SUV mai nahi safe hai. Ye toh 165mm gc hai ise stable sirf cruize thi.

Well it has to be money in the bank 🏦 choice to grab one if this coz Racer edition aerodynamics by looking at it seriously a sensible choice to buy if you keep on comparing with Nline well in that case it will surely give a neck to neck competition and the engineering behind the racer edition yes now Rata can vouch that they are quite now capable enough to build a good car though Nline has already sets a benchmark ❤️🌹

Altroz Racer Top Model 11 Lakh, n line top model 12.5 Lakh. 1.5 lakh difference is there. Altroz has 100 kg more weight also. They're not in competition at all

agar tata future mai altroz ko tuned 1.2 130hp TGDI Hyperion engine ke sath launch karta hai under 12 lakh to hit hogi car bas ye dekhna bacha hai ki new engine kaisa hoga

No, both of these are equipped with 3 cylinder engines. The 1.0 turbo on the i20 is 3 cylinder. The regular 1.2 is 4 cylinder

Wow, didn't expect this much hate in the comments! I own an i20 N Line MT, but I was thoroughly excited to see one more performance oriented hatchback coming to the market. Looking at the reviews, I'm seeing that Tata could have done a better job at separating the Racer from the standard Altroz. People can hate on Hyundai all they want, but you have to give them props for keeping the enthusiast segment alive at an affordable price point. And that they didn't do just cosmetic changes at call it a day!

Enough features 4. LOT of space Sure, you can say it's “ghatiya” or whatever but there's no better choice on the market if you're looking for a sporty and fun to drive hatchback. Objectively. Engine refine nahi hai compared to Ford (Ford wapis aa reha hai India mai waise), VW and Honda 2. Performance ke liye VW aur skoda hai jo jada better hai compared to trash hyundai 3.
