Battery doesnt help with acceleration, its a small battery that helps with electronics, A/C etc

@@Definitely_Someone You are wrong my friend. The 48V mild hybrid system helps you with the acceleration, depending on how you use the car and how much electricity you have stored in the battery it can provide you an extra ~10-12 hp for a short period of time when you completely floor it. If you own the car, drive it in the sport mode ( in eco it will enter the sail mode which uses the battery ) with start and stop deactivated for a period of time ( ideally on a longer trip so you can charge the battery from the generator and regenerative braking ) and then floor it to the max, you will notice the difference. @@Andrei-vv1sv I have heard everything you mention except the help to the acceleration and the extra 10 hp, havent found info regarding this. But maybe you are right i dont know since i dont have my hands on the car yet.

@@Definitely_Someone Unfortunately there are very few infos out there about this system. It is produced by Valeo and develops a max of 15hp. When I got my car delivered I received a Certificate of Conformity with all the technical specs about the car and engine and it's written there the max output/30min that the electric engine produces. Overall it's an amazing car ( price/power/fuel efficiency ) with a lot of improvements over the pre-facelift model. I bet you will be excited about it once it gets delivered to you. Too bad Hyundai do not offer the 1.6 tgdi 204hp engine you can find on kia ceed gt to the i30 series...

@@Andrei-vv1sv Does the 1.5 TGDI 159 hp accelerate fast or is it fast in general? Because for a 159hp from the videos it seems rather slow but it could be because i see it from videos and the perception is different.
