Hyundai Kona Key Fob Battery Replacement

To repair your Hyundai Kona key fob you are going to need three things:
A #1 Philips head screwdriver
A flathead screwdriver
A CR2032 battery

Thanks! I found the hardest part was to crack the case, but next time the interface will be cleaner, and therefore easier to split! For some models, both older and newer, Hyundai makes it easier to get to the battery.

I dunno how you did this so effortlessly. I watched this video for afternoon and since then I've tried 3 times but I can't get the fob open.

It might take a fourth...or fifth...or eighth try. Don't give up. Important thing is to realize you probably are not going to break it. And also...if you get a few oysters to practice on this might be easier.
