Proud new owner of a 2020 Veloster N for 3 weeks now. Came with a lot of mileage, but I was willing to overlook that just to drive something newer and to get a new driving experience. Not used to so many bells and whistles, but I love my Veloster N. Great daily driver.

​@CTF33 and that is?? Because people call this car a lemon and I've seen someone call it the "goofmoblie" and I have even seen people call it the r slur. Honestly the N version shown here and the grappler concept, remind me of "twiddle dee" and "twiddle dumb" while the i20n reminds me of beep the meep from doctor who if he was a car (the doctor would be a DeLorean or something like that😂)

The bad news is of course the cancellation but at least Hyundai plans on releasing N type of EV cars, that should be interesting since they’ve been racing around a EV race car for awhile now to test things for future EV production 😊

@@CTF33 fun car rather than fast car, because the engine and exhaust noise makes you feel like you’re piloting a piston engined fighter plane, my VN gets lasered all the time by local cops even when I’m doing 30mph because it sounds fast even below 55mph 😂

Yeah, this car really would be great to take out on a racetrack, unfortunately here in Hawaii traffic is known to be the worst of all 50 states so the only times I can measure without having some sort of problem due to traffic is 0-50, 0-60 times are really only safe here late at night but the motorcycle cops know young guys try doing stuff like that so I always see someone pulled over getting a ticket for speeding at night. That plus the N sounds like it’s launching lit firecrackers means cops watch for stuff going on at night like NORAD looking for Russian nukes coming over the horizon 😂

I love my Veloster. I bought a used 2013 veloster with a 6 speed, to commute to work. Engine blew up after first oil change. Hyundai replaced the engine at no cost. I would love to trade it for the one in this ad at no cost😂

I got one and stuck a big ole Garret in mine. 405whp on 24psi This car is so dope from stock configuration up to whatever u wanna do with it Lotta guys tossing the turbos from the Elentra N in them since the VN turbo is way smaller

Eyup, the small turbo of the pre facelift 2.0L engine is WAY too small; Hyundai apparently tried to get rid of turbo lag this way, but it just limited the engine so much. They pretty much never reached the advertised 275hp, most had 265hp on the dyno, sometimes even less. The FL however, despite claiming 280hp (just a 5hp increase) actually seems to have around 300-305hp in reality; so a 35-40hp increase and a better usable rev range.

It baffles me why the Veloster had to get canceled. I wish more people appreciate the car. Maybe down the line the Veloster could gotten an AWD configuration. Maybe I'm just too biased because I have one. She might just have the 1.6T but I know i won't let mine go.

Alot of reviewers even said that it handles better than the M2 or M3 (which isnt surprising, since the guy behind the M cars (Albert Biermann) created the i30N and BMW has decided to make their sports cars "luxurious" and "comfortable") The ONLY thing holding this car back is its high weight; if they manage to shave off 50kg it would be even more insane.

I mean, they did update some of the plastics on the interior and used WAY better seat material. The pre-FL had some really horrendous plastic quality in some areas. And I am honestly glad it still has the awesome looking gauges instead of the screen in the i20N or Elantra N.

This should rather be the newer version of the I20 than the unfitting "i20 N". Feel like the rear got messed up for that one. This one looks great though and would be lookswise, the perfect follower to the I20
