Just replaced mine. It uses a 23 mm deep socket. That is with the OEM Hyundai pcv valve. Thanks for the excellent video.

The issue is with the GDi engine. Search it on KZbin and you'll see why it's a common issue.

Replace the pvc valve filter should stop the oil burning. Our dealer kept the car twice about the car burning oil 4 quarts every three weeks. Says they can’t find the problem. I don’t think they ever tried to fix the problem. I replaced the pvc valve filter and that fixed the problem. That’s has been two months ago not burning oil or is there any blue smoke coming from exhaust pipes when she takes off. Easy fix and a big thank you for showing this video.

Hi Sir, I have looked for PCV valve 26740-2G000 part number in our local retailer. The local retailer has it, but it says it is for KIA sportage, sorento. Can you advise, if it is the same pcv valve? My car is Hyundai Sonata 2016, and I am not located in the US, so I can't buy from Amazon

Oil chg places will put 5W20 oil in high mileage sonatas and it will go through it really fast. I'm now adding at least a quart and a half in between oil changes. So I saw someone replace the PCV valve on their car and it didn't make any difference in the oil burn, so I'm not only replacing my PCV on my 2013 Sonata but also switching to 5W30 synthetic. 5W20 appears to be the wrong weight for high mileage Sonatas. (150K plus)

I very highly doubt that slight difference in oil will stop it from consuming oil.

@@jays.3052 It won't, I've already been switching oil, and it burns slightly slower by maybe a couple days, still really bad. Hyundai also takes a minute to warm up that 5w30 oil, so you'd have a rougher start than usual because of the viscosity

Sir i have i20 petrol car 2012 sportz,my car after driving 10km or more,then switch off and restart its getting long time to start...i read on cluster meter its all light show normal...after scan there is no fault code shown...

I know how crazy this is, but it could be your charging system. Clean your battery terminals, make sure they're very tight. Test the battery.

the real and true/exact fit socket size is 23mm. All the others metric and or SAE dimensions are either little oversize or little undersize.
