It cannot be a replacement for an Auto. Auto is capable of Transporting 6 people at once but this merely has a space for 3 people in the rear. May work as Golf karts or at Zoo, Hospitals etc and that is what they wanted to do ig.

In my opinion the current rickshaws are too old design and should be replaced. They are boring and bland. This is something new and i like it. Hopefully market reacts to it. I feel the quality on this would be much better than the traditional rickshaws as they have minimal competition here(Bajaj).

Since I won’t be driving, the effort that goes into driving is not a problem, I only want access to all parts of the city. I also travel in smaller towns frequently to visit families. Why you move so much just see the footage so much moving and this guy just keep moving while standing come on man also these only looks good in clean environment like we see in this video.Imagine Rickshaw driver driving it, they will make it go every where like they do with autos it is not going to look good, it will be just removing autos but those who are driving will still drive it like they are driving now, it is not a western country where it will move in its line and clean environment where it looks so good and honking OMG it is like Babita ji with Iyer. Put these on Indian roads where dust, terrible roads, garbage, no parking, park it anywhere it will look terrible western countries looks so good because they have basic things, no overhead wires, sewage, dust free, garbage free, no stray animals, no redi wala (street vandors), no shop is extended to roads, proper pathways etc etc. These are basic things for any city to be called a city but even in 2025 we don't even have these basic things in any Indian city. We need to have these basic things give more power to municipality level to hold them accountable and work on improving Indian cities. if it is not done you can bring any luxury car it will look misfit. See under developed countries there cities still have these basic things i talked about. even war torn country Iraq have better cities just check it
