Not quite. The psychiatrist part is right but the psychologist part is not. After BA you beacome a therapist. To become a psychologist you need to do Masters.

@ You are getting confused between a CLINICAL psychologist and a psychologist. They are both different. For a clinical psychologist you require an MPhil but for a Psychologist you just need Masters. I know because I am a psychologist with Masters. PhD is optional in India for psychologist/ clinical psychologist. Even after doing a PhD you’ll not be a clinical psychologist if you don’t have an MPhil. And only a clinical psychologist requires a license. Not a psychologist.
