Impressive! I thought the 12 lane wide stretch of I-70 southwest of the Indianapolis was huge. This stretch of I-10 takes the cake.

Your videos are GREAT! This one, I-10 West, is the one I take every day (except, why didn't you start downtown??? Which drive always amazes me.....Go make another one and start at the Eastex!). Really like your style, and like you, I actually LIKE the freeways, think they're cool, especially the Katy West! Outstanding video.

There is a stretch of I-75&!-85 multiplex in Atlanta that including carpool lanes is 18 lanes wide

Atlanta traffic is bad but Houston is a entirely different animal. Los Angeles, Houston, Chicago and San Francisco bay area are the worst cities for traffic. Honorable mentions Dallas and Atlanta

What camera mount do you use? I tried gorilla pod with my Sony DSC W290 but the video was very shaky especially on concrete roads in Houston.

80 ? You can (drive 80) but be prepared to either get hit from behind or run off the road. Be sure to stay in the far right lane and get lots of glares and "birds". These freeways are like the autobahns in Europe, only faster. NASCAR drivers do their advanced driving courses on Houston freeways. After driving from downtown Houston to Katy or Galveston, etc. those guys are relieved to get back to the safer places like Talladega and Daytona.

@Melody615199999 believe me autobahn is more dangerous that the Katy freeway, especially in Deutschland where you can find a lot of stupid drivers that are coming to Deutschland from The Netherland, high enough(note that in Amsterdam smoking weed is legal) to create a bloody accident!!!! but anyway no comment, in Europe we envy the infrastructure of USA !!!! and gush the Katy Freeway seems to be the cherry from the top of the cake!!!! trully amazing, bloody hell!!!!
