About Allmind. She is a VERY interesting antagonist, because in the end, she did complete what she set out to do and by the hand of those who defeat her. From start to finish, Allmind was never power hungry. Which is weird from how she behave, but all she ever care about is how to made human evolve into a higher being even if she have to kill a shit load of people to do so. Allmind justtttt a tiny bit paranoid about raven, and basically doesn't really trust raven who she can't seem to completely control. Iguazu also a complex loser with a potential to be just like raven but somehow lost in his own hatred.
@NephyrisX Жыл бұрын
Simply put, Allmind wants to evolve humanity at all costs, but only on her own terms, hence the killing and assimilation of certain pilots. Killing Iguana and subsequently Allmind effectively leaves humanity to decide how they approach an uncertain post Coral-Release future that gleaming with possibilities than ever before.

"Allmind justtttt a tiny bit paranoid about raven, and basically doesn't really trust raven who she can't seem to completely control." I mean, it's wasn't even that. Allmind, as the name implies, integrates human personality data into itself to expand the scope of it's perspective. The problem with that was that _no one_ was prepared for the reality rending levels of pure SALT that was Iquazu.
@LoneWolfInsane Жыл бұрын
Allmind didn´t exactly manage to fulfill her goal. Her base goal was to help mercenaries and humanity. But do to Allminds need for control, her way of helping took form in a misguided and twisted way.Her conclusion ended up being that the best way to help humanity, was by using coral release to take control of humanity. Her need for control ultimately caused her own downfall and the destruction of her plan. But her base desire was fulfilled in the end. This is do to her seeing coral release as something good for humanity, even without her taking control. As for Iguazu, he is a dark reflection of 621 and the player. He is jealous of "621 having it all", but he also had everything that 621 possessed. A caring mentor that respected him, a friend and the old gen ability to form special connections like Ayre and Allmind. But his low self esteem, Michigan only being nice to him behind his back and generally being treated like an outdated product, caused him to be unable to notice what he had and all alone in the end.

On your understanding of the Coral part Ayre isn't like a fusion of a lot of coral, she mentions that "She is but a single wave in the coral tide." which means that she is just like the rest of them. Thumb Dolmayan was able to hear Seria (his Ayre) because he used to hr a Doser before starting the RLF. He began hearing a voice and thought it was a blessing from the Coral, which is why the RLF's battle chant is "Coral abide with Rubicon". He started that, but that isn't the whole thing, and we get to hear it in his fight at the Xylem. Now Coral isn't flammable, but it blew up like that because there was a crazy amount of it in one place due to it multiplying the more of it there is so it became dense. The PCA wanted to contain the Coral on the planet so that no one abuses it and the same thing doesn't happen again. They even built the closure satellites for it. And for anyone wondering why there were useless asf, it's cuz The Branch. King and Chartreuse attacked the Closure Satellites System which allowed for easier entry and Raven (Nightfall) leaked data of Coral still existing to the corporations, leading them to the planet. And ig they were kinda dicks about it because the Rubiconians survived off of mealworms which fed off of Coral to become bigger Oh and about the Fires of Ibis, it was no accident. The word "Ibis" is closely related to the RRI of Rubicon Research Institute with the Ibis Series (CEL 240 AND HAL), but even all of the other Institute machines are designated with either "IA" like the Sea Spider or "IB" like the Ice Worm. Professor Nagai who was the head of the Institute at the time saw the potential risk of a Coral Collapse (basically Coral Release) and saw what happened to Walter's parents. Assistant A was Walter's dad and lost himself to his own research (and yes he did make Coral Surgery) and Walter's mom was lost as well. Assistant B was Carla. So Nagai decided to initiate the Fires of Ibis with an Ibis System of some kind, and we even see his AC on top of a building in Institute City which has a data log of the start of the Fires. Due to the Coral being contained, it multiplied. Walter and Carla of Overseer who took on the will of Nagai saw the same risks as before and wanted to do it again, but for good this time. Also ALLMIND isn't power hungry, she just did what she was designed to do to begin with. Further Humanity's interest and the next step is Evolution which makes sense. She's such an interesting villain, because initially no one will actually care, because she's introduced so subtly. No one would think that the AI who we communicate and operate through would use all of the info at her disposal to further her goals for Humanity's evolution. Also we're probably not getting any DLC, we might get expansions for parts? But FromSoft already confirmed that there won't be DLC. In AC tradition, they'll probably make a follow-up game (like AC 4 and AC For Answer, AC V and AC Verdict Day) after the Elden Ring dlc probably.
@willowhealy45311 ай бұрын
its not confirmed by the game, but its not a huge leap to make the assumption that a huge amount of coral is itself sentient because it absorbed the consciousness of humans that died during the original fires of ibis, hence why ayre refers to the other coral people as brothers and sisters of rubicon or whatever the line is, this doesnt mean that every person within the coral is an absorbed mind because of references to "mutated" coral in the logs of nagai which would make sense as allmind also points out ayre as being a mutated entity, it makes sense as a direct analogy for the themes that coral has in the story about transhumanism and progression of the species, it could just as easily be an entirely alien non comprehensible species but i think one of the first lines that you hear from ayre supports it, she says that you may be swept into the coral tide when you first recover from contact with her at the watchpoint, either before or after the balteus fight, your mind can literally get lost in the flow of the coral and be assimilated into a mutated wave form of coral, but thats just personal deranged linking of the dots, if theres anything that explicitly disproves anything i said in the game somewhere i would love to see it!

On coral being flammable: I think that it is, it's used for fuel throughout the entire game. I believe that coral engines are essentially special internal combustion engines that provide a vacuum environment for coral to reproduce, and then burning it like any other type of fuel. On top of that throughout the game, the sky has this orange particulate, which seems to me like smoldering leftover coral.
@spiraljumper747 ай бұрын
@@themanthemyth4522I think they just mean it’s a stable substance in its natural state. We never actually see Coral create the “Fires” effect without being acted on by an outside factor of substantial power, whether that’s the Xylem’s impact or Professor Nagai’s unknown accelerant. When the Coral Density threshold is passed we get Coral release instead, I think there’s a strong argument to be made that this was what Prof. Nagai was hoping to prevent all along, as horrified as he was by the artificial fusion of human and coral in augmentation surgery, no way he would’ve accepted a true symbiosis. I do agree with your theory on how Coral gens work though, it’s the only thing that makes sense for creating such long lasting gens. I really like the idea of it with how the gens actually function. Like you can redline them, consuming “all” the coral, but it never really dies, and re-propagates after a moment. It’s like there’s a microcosm of the Fires of Ibis happening in your engine every time you redline it.

So, Iguazu I think is an interesting Character as Him and Volta were very close and for the NG++ Ending, you need to swap sides and fight Volta and Iguazu. To Raven the whole time except the last chapter it's literally just the job, but for Iguazu, it has become personal, he has an emptional motivation to beat you but you’re just better. Then he treats the coral voices as some form of schizophrenia while you communicate with them and he doesn’t understand what makes you better then right at the very end, he literally seperates from AllMind using nothing but sheer will and retains his own will and humanity commandeering the most powerful mech in existence to try and beat you. I liked him at that point because he showed development as an antagonist with a human emotional motivation.

When it comes to gameplay all endings have something to love The liberator has that insanely good mission with rusty as company that ends in boss fight that I can best describe as reskin done absolutely right Fires has that legendary fight against rusty that you get infinite energy and of course one of the best final bosses in video game history And coral release has... Difficulty pure raw unforgiving difficulty from a 3 v 1 mission all the way to Allmind itself which is so insanely hard and fun at the same time... Mastering the final phase and doing it no hit run on it is one of the most intense and incredible experiences I have ever had it took literal days and I wasn't frustrated with it I was just enjoying every second
@BlazeEmerald Жыл бұрын
I would say Liberator Final Boss hit harder than Fires personally, between the music, where the fight is, the dialogue and the boss itself it's just breathtaking to me. The 3v1 actually unlocks on NG+ so it isn't a part of NG++'s mission requirements. Was probably my second hardest fight, took some planning of my route to handle the DPS check to have both down before the reinforcements actually arrive to where I am fighting -My take on the endings is Liberator has the second best mission in the game, with a very punchable boss at the end and the best Final Boss. The 2v1 that locks in the route was probably my hardest fight in the game, from how hard they complement each other's strengths VS my playstyle. Final boss here is fun to me from the novel attacks, which took me time to read, the Coral Shield making it able to take a decent beating and the boss dialogue adding context to things throughout the game, letting you look for the changes as they happen. -Fires has the best mission in the game. The boss fight in the best mission in the game was great too. Final Boss here was not too bad, lots of her attacks are easy enough to dodge for me, since the game has already taught you how to dodge most, if not all of it by then between the standard arena, EPHEMERA and CEL. The massive damage reduction at half health for the phase transition also felt like a cop out to the issues I have with how AC6 tuned the damage attacks can do, where instead of solving a problem they just patched it over and called it a day. One thing I really like about it is how it shows how people can do their best to try and do the right thing and still be in the wrong due to incomplete information. -Alea Iacta Est was kind of a let down in terms of gameplay, and the Final Boss was pretty meh for me. Just killed the adds ASAP then focused on the boss until it's dead, nearly did it first try. On the other hand that you just kept fucking with Iguana was kinda hilarious to me, his reactions do a wonderful job fleshing out his character, and ambushing Snail's ambush was very satisfying. --The NG++ missions themselves were also pretty easy, with the ones that were hard being hard for the wrong reasons. Coral Export Denial was hard since the blast radius on the large radius GNL and the one on the helis are not quite enough to reach whole groups by the end, and you can afford to let ONE group go in total throughout the whole mission. Meanwhile Regain Control of the Xylem is hard because you are finding needles in a maze inside of a haystack under a time limit, with the hints being needles in their own right. With all the ends I like that they don't spoonfeed you the answers and leave room for you to make your own, though ending 3 goes a bit too far on that where it could mean basically anything.

I kinda like Iguazu being the last boss after really think about it. Just like you said no player would really think Iguazu is a big deal, and feel underwhelming, but if you pay some attention to all play through, not only you fight him most times, but probably he is the one has the most obsession on you. Not saying that the Papa, the Mama, or the Girl care you less than him but these three or other npcs all have their goal at first, but only Iguazu, after your fist mission together, his eye is lock on you while you don't even care about him. And after finishing the two endings, you, raven, you are not the challenger anymore you are the most powerful being in all game. So you are the boss now, then it needs a challenger, after I just explain I think Iguazu is perfect for this job. btw about Papa and Mama in third ending, not showing them die in combat is because their character arc is complete, and both is completed at the another side with raven in another ending, so I don't really think it is necessary to put them up again, and also it's kinda build up the emotion of not trusting allmind.

The ALLMIND ending translates to "The DIe is Cast". Thumb Dolmayan's not Augmented, he was a doser. The fires of Ibis occurred when the head of the Institute used the Ibis series to suppress what he understood to be a "Coral Collapse" caused by a "Wave Mutation", which actually was a "Coral Release" caused by a "Rubiconian" named Seria. Walter's father knew the truth and created human augmentation to prepare humanity for symbiosis, but he was committed as insane. Thumb Dolmayan also knew the truth but refused to help Seria as he feared the outcome. Walter and Carla are the ones with a backwards understanding of what happened and who are responsible.
@LoneWolfInsane Жыл бұрын
there is no indication that seria existed at the time before or during the fires of ibis. Its possible that seria is the coral wave mutation that was born by the coral collapse, but highly unlikely seen as said coral wave mutation was the primary target that the researchers were trying to destroy. Seria and Dolmayan's understanding of coral symbiosis came from reading old incomplete research institute logs seria found. Walter knew what the researcher did, but didn´t really care why they did it. He only wanted to do it to fulfill his friends wishes. Carla, a research assistant, was a part of them, so she knows why and what happened. The reason why the researchers committed the fires of ibis, was primarily because the researchers feared loosing their control over the coral. With their ignorant belief, that they cud stop stuff like human augmentation, being secondary.

At some point events felt rail roaded and found myself not reasonably agreeing with anyone, but opting to trust Walter and Carla the most (Fires of Raven ending). In Addition I would have liked more agency in the war. Arquebus wins (initially) no matter what. I wanted a Balam route where you're the scrappy underdog against the now PCA powered Arquebus. A more direct Liberation Front Route where you forsake everyone else for ideals (Kind of like the liberator route but more expanded) and perhaps the thing that I'm most rabid about. I wanted so badly to side with the PCA. Their mere existence hints so much about the world of AC6 and I wanted to learn more about it while siding with the perhaps the currently most technology advanced faction. Their designs just SCREAM cool, from HCs to the Cataphract to their satellites. Gameplay wise the game is a 10 out of 10 I'm proud to have seen the genre gain wide spread appeal. I give the story a 7.5. I would have liked more routes and more dialogue with Ayre to understand her motivations in the third ending to really flesh things out. An overall 9/10

Ālea iacta est is a variation of a Latin phrase attributed by Suetonius to Julius Caesar on 10 January 49 BC, as he led his army across the Rubicon river in Northern Italy. With this step, he entered Italy at the head of his army in defiance of the Senate and began his long civil war against Pompey and the Optimates.

a lot of memorable moments to highlight in the game: - i love the Ice Worm chaptern the factions collabing and how badass V. IV RUSTY's "..I WONT MISS", mostly when the Rail gun was going pass the critical state and interferes with the voice comms "ALL OR NOTHING.." moment - and facing G1 Michigan where the grunts banters 😂 and how he hypes up Balam for its last stand, as it was like the roles were reversed and you were the boss itself. - "on Borrowed WIngs" gave me a lot of nostalgia, gave me a sudden rush of emotions, its been decades since being an AC fan. also i felt bad w/ Raven's AC pilot to reach this far, regards understanding the kill or be killed scenario. this fight reminds me again to adapt and build as was Chapter 1 Balteus.

About Ayre and the "sentient coral" confusion, coral by itself basically acts like a massive nervous system without a brain, able to transmit information at an incredible speed and efficiency without being able to necessarily communicate or act on that information itself. Ayre, and any other "voices" in the coral are classified as Coral Wave Mutations, basically as if one of your nerves suddenly and unexpectantly developed into a brain. Only AC pilots of fourth gen or older can hear them as those gens used a Coral Control Implant (CCI) to make it easier for their handlers to control them, giving the pilot and any Coral Mutations a direct line of communication through the CCI. Fun fact, in the loading animations for missions you can see a gauge labeled with "C-Pulse Amplitude" in the bottom left for a few moments, presumably showing the readouts of the device in your brain like a heartbeat monitor

Context for Coral (PLENTY of spoilers ahead, don’t read unless you’ve finished the game, this is a threat): It’s a fuel source, yes…but it’s also a data conduit. And it’s self-replicating. Now, it doesn’t EAT people, but rather, it’s so good at storing data, that when a human mind interacts with enough coral, it isn’t just absorbed, but COMPLETELY taken into it. (Slight speculation ahead), When enough raw people go into Coral, this can create a “coral wave mutation” (the voices you/Thumb Dolmian/Iguazu/Sulla hear. These wave mutations, when combined with JUST the right people, can cause a kind of “feedback loop”, which compounds over all the existing Coral, and causes it to RAPIDLY reproduce. This coral then gains significant MASS (as likely credited to the conservation of mass theory, relating to electronics), and this mass turns into raw energy that sweeps over and annihilates anything it touches (absorbs into itself, in reality). The Coral Collapse occurs when said Coral, in a given area, gains enough raw mass in data alone to essentially become a black hole. Only this black holes doesn’t just get rid of the data; it sends it out. And not just the Data, but the Coral too turns into a damned inferno that spreads to wherever there is more raw data to be gathered. That’s right; the Coral Collapse, if it gets out of hand, will quite literally turn the galaxy into a hivemind of the screaming dead. Ever notice how Coral sounds when it’s used? Sounds like screaming, no? But Yee; that’s Coral^^!

I think it's fascinating that everyone I've talked to has a different ranking for the endings. I personally think Fires of Raven is the most satisfying ending, a sense of finality even though the Coral will likely return as the cycle continues. Coral Convergence is my second fav for the level of mystique and excitement for what the future holds. Liberator of Rubicon was my least fav not for a lack of emotion, the bosses nailed that, but the way it's just like: okay, we stopped the explosion, now what? The way all of the endings resonate differently with different people is I think a massive plus; it is not for a lack of clarity like Souls games (pre item descriptions/Vaati) but the genuine moral ambiguity and looking at the endings in the moment vs their implications. 100% agree about the lack of parts, WHERE ARE MY GUN ARMS FROMSOFT??? I am really holding out hope for some kind of DLC like an OG Raven prelude or a For Answer/Verdict Day followup. This game was a 10/10 for me even having played BG3, it was the gamiest feeling game I've played in decades and I loved every second of the 150+ hours it gave me. Here's to FROMSOFT bringing back Armored Core in all its glory and to the prospect of more in the future.

Allmind's ending felt like something I would normally like, but it fell flat to me because it raised more questions than answers. A very bad thing for a final, secret ending. -What exactly was Coral Release? It's a symbiosis, but what does that look like exactly. -How do the Coral people work exactly? Ayre is clearly ok with piloting C-weapons that use Coral for fuel and ammo, so all Coral can't be like her. Or Ayre is more ruthless than I thought... -Why was an augmented human the key to Coral Release? How did our presence cause the Release? -Why did Allmind attack the BAWS Arsenal in two timelines, and then defend it in from the PCA in the third? -Why did Allmind attack the Strider? -Why did Allmind attack 621 and Iguazu in the Grid, only to recruit them later? Why not go for the recruit first? -Silva, O'Keeffe and Iguazu all used Allmind parts and all of them worked with Allmind. Rokumonsen used ALLMIND parts too, so does that mean he worked with her too? -Why did Allmind try to kill 621 and Ayre right at the last minute? We were clearly on her side and 100% ok with going forward with Coral release. -If 621 was unneeded because Allmind already had Iguazu, then why not just kill Iguazu, who was clearly more unstable? It seems like Iguazu's salt was too strong for her to contain. -Why did Allmind want to do Coral Release anyways? Is it really just her drive for evolution? This last one is a bit more of a crack theory rather than a question. Is Allmind really an AI? What if she's a Coral person like Ayre? If she is a coral person, that would explain her motive to my last question. It would also explain why she knew about Ayre's existence and name. I wonder if Vaati's mega lore video will have these answers...

About the part varieties, I absolutely agreed with you after really delving into making builds. "Alea Iacta Est" (or without caps, alea iacta est) is what Caesar reportedly said after defying the Senate and crossing the Rubicon River with the intent of taking Rome. This translates to "The die is cast" or "The die has been thrown," meaning 'we've already taken this gamble, it's too late to undo it.' "Alea Lacta Est" by my understanding roughly translates to "The die is milky" or "The die is being cajoled"

I totally agree. More parts would be badass. Matchmaking could also be good. Something most people might not immediately acknowledge is how good a group sorte mode could be like a raid mode with special encounters like a duo Juggernaut fight. Or a mission that starts split up to open up a top security zone together and someone having to break off top stop reinforcements on their own. I imagine if the concept gets suggested enough it could happen as DLC or a next game. Armored Core tends to expand on a generation with more games.

Neat video, and I agree more parts would be nice. Would you mind adding share codes for the ACs you made in the description? It's such a neat feature it'd be a shame not to use it. Also I very much disagree on your interpretation of the endings. I think we can make the safe assumption that a very important theme in the game is choice and change, and through that lens we can find meaning in the ending. I would say the choice theme is reinforced by the final ending being a sentence that means a choice that cannot be unmade, and Walter too says "Once something is alive it doesn't die easily" and several other times during the game it is underlined the importante of choice. So through this lens we can interpret the three endings, in my opinion, in a more satisfying way: -Fires Of Raven, refusing change and being stuck to the past therefore repeating the horrors; -Liberator of Rubicon, choice of freedom but refusal to change and it is basically just kicking the can down the road; -Alea Iacta Est, actually embracing change and Allmind's fall is not being power hungry (for it never was, its task always was to do "what's best" for all mercenaries even at the cost of several thousands of lives) but rather, in the end, taking away the choice from C4-621 by trying to assimilate them after killing them (same as Iguazu). Iguazu works as an antagonist as he is the opposite of freedom, dominated by his insecurity and will for revenge he can't do anything for himself, unlike Raven. Also Thumb Dolmayan does not have surgery: he had to use coral as a drug to have a contact with Seria: there is a data log in which he discusses with her, she says that there will always be plenty of Coral and he replies by saying that he wouldn't do the same (sacrifice people of his species) but is lying. It is the 2nd of Dolmayan's writings. There would probably be more to say but I think for a youtube comment I don't even know it'll be read I think is enough. I hope I have at least left some crumbs for viewing the endings in a better light. In any case, thank you for sharing your thoughts.
@LoneWolfInsane Жыл бұрын
i would not say that LoR is the refusal to change. In it we see the RLF rejecting the status quo slogans and ideology of father Dolmayan and embracing change, with lines like "beyond these scorched skies "meaning pretty much "on the other side of the Rubicon river" I would rather say that in the allmind route we act upon knowledge gained in prior playthroughs to fast-track While coral release would probably happen eventually after LOR. In the allmind route, we act upon knowledge gained in prior playthroughs, to fast-track coral release. LOR can not be the refusal to change, when the player character doe not even know that Coral release exists, in the liberator route.
@Draconis_Eltanin Жыл бұрын
@@LoneWolfInsane Yeah, maybe "refusal" was not the most adequate word, though I still remain of the idea that it is the ending in which little changes. Sure the corporations are defeated, for now, and the coral is safe, for now, but given some time they'll be back at the start fighting for coral if nothing is done, is it? For I am not that positive about the likelyhood of coral release. Then again, this is all speculation. I hope I am making sense, thank you for your comment.
@LoneWolfInsane Жыл бұрын
@@Draconis_Eltanin i think coral release is suposed to mean an intentionally induced coral convergence. I believe ayre is stated to be a rubiconion who died in the fires of ibis alongside most of the planets population and stated in the 3rd ending, the coral and humanity had a sort of “symbiosis” as it is stated to be the goal from ayre and allmind. So coral is a resource that isn’t sentient by itself but it can replicate at right circumstances at exponential values and it can also for some reason absorb peoples consciousness and connect them to the coral network.

I really like Igazu or whatever iguana man being the last boss and not necessarily Allmind. AC always had that idea that, 1 on 1, humans are better than AI in combat. Seeing Allmind trying to repress Iguana man to the ground only for him to rise back up and take over is a testament of that. He was manipulated, blinded with rage and even if Allmind is far superior in almost everyway, her will is still weaker than Iguana man. His sheer will power to defeat Raven and come out on top at any cost is borderline poetic, it's humane.

Just one thing about the "true ending"; alea iacta est. It's a quote from Julius Ceaser meaning the die is cast when he crossed the river rubicon, most likley where From the name basically saying what ever happens from here, theres no going back. If taken into account it could mean that the ac6 spin-off or ac7 would have everyone (or the majority of characters) be coral symbiotes for the once again rebooted story. Sure its not as satisfying as liberator or fires but hopefully if From gets the story right, the pay-off for the "true ending" will be better for future releases.
@Jonsoner Жыл бұрын
That was my feeling as well. It's a cool concept, "what does symbiosis with sentient nanomachines mean for us as a species and the galaxy" if the franchise uses it to expand the plot, aka humans vs augmented humans vs coral humans vs AI vs corps it would be really cool and there's a lot that can be written with that. But it the end, for AC6 it just felt like an ok ending. Maybe AC6 part 2 NOT DLC might expand on it as well.
@SamuelPulkkinen-jp8ev9 ай бұрын
I definitely agree with the healthy scepticism of Coral. I feel somewhat of a narrative dissonance in it; Ayre is 100% a good character and her goals are pure, it feels like the narrative is knowingly setting that up. But then looking at the whole outside of the box of what the story is asserting at you, there are so many logistical issues and worrying details. Ayre keeps talking about this union between humanity and Coral as if it can only lead to good things. 1. We don't know how virtuous and sensible the ENTIRETY of these Coral personalities are, we only really have Ayre as reference. 2. Humanity IS NOT known to use changes morally or even sensibly. If the Coral was to stay, it would be abused just like it was before, especially in the dystopian corporate military-world Armored Core takes place in.
@Caaaaaarl Жыл бұрын
The thing with Alae Lacta Est is that is an ending only ment to be aligned with the game deep narrative and theme "The human will is the best thing ever" ALLMIND was there the entire time gathering data to complete her only task "help all mercenaries" wich thats why she does what she does and created the arena on first place, for research and find a strong enought old-gen pilot for using it later on (like Sulla, Iguazu, etc) ALLMIND also never uses unnecesary force like Balam, Arquebus, the RLF and so, she just eliminates unnecesary risks like the PCA, traitors and people like Walter, because she needs to be in complete control of the situation being that the reason u fight her and Iguazu at the end (despite some details) Iguazu is also another really interesting character, because is one of the most human characters, he is a really insecure loser that became pilot to pay his debts surrounded by great pilots like Nile, Michigan or Raven and cant stand that another 4th gen pilot that cant even talk be so superior than him wich roots him so deeply that in all ur playthroughs will try to kill at some point just to prove himself that u arent so special but in the third one u beat his ass 3 times and defeat the assasin that he contracts to stop u, wich just breaks enought to accept ALLMIND's "help" (ALLMIND also was desperate at this point because she doesn't have any other pilot aviable and cant let u release the coral, she has to release it because u want to despite being a bit confusing to understand), Iguazu isnt special this time either, he is just "the first warm body that could find" as he told u at the start of the game But what makes special this ending is that Iguazu breaks free from ALLMIND's control at the very end just by the meere force of his will, wich i found just brilliant how the most useless from them all was the only one capable of this exact moment, "everyone can shine if the propose to" thats the message at this point and the simbolism is aligned too, u are two pilots that had fought various times in the past but that arent the same people at the start of this journey, if i had to compare this emotional charge with something it would be Garou's last fight, is just way to much

If anyone liked this video I’d recommend watching FatBrett’s videos on Allmind, Walter and whiny boy. Really helps understand how good the story is and some of the character’s motivations. For the Fires of Raven ending, basically Brickys right that it’s controlled forest fire burning basically, but on a large scale. The reason being that Coral, on top of everything else, is Radioactive, and prone to mutations. The reason the Fires of Ibis happened was because the Coral mutated, and started spreading exponentially faster, so the Institute leader hit the “fuck it we ball” button and lit it up. Walter and Carla are heavily implied to be assistant 1’s son and assistant 2 from during the Fires of Ibis, so they feel a duty to continue on the legacy of making sure the coral doesn’t spread, and irradiate the stars. The Liberator of Rubicon ending is still pretty good, but in that ending it’s good to note that we don’t really fix the problem. The coral is still going to spread at an exponential rate, and we have no clear solutions to living in symbiosis with it. The Liberator ending is basically us saying “we’ll find a way to coexist with the coral hopefully” and then credits roll. For all we know, the Coral spreads to the stars as Walter feared, and everything becomes radioactive. The Allmind ending is interesting and I could explain it but I got work so uh yeah later!

6 Not having as much parts as previous games is par for the course for this series. The first mainline numbered entry in a generation of AC always has a very small subset of parts, as they spend the vast majority of the dev time bringing the game up-to-date on a new engine, revamping the core gameplay mechanics and setting up the world, lore and general vibe and style. Once they get all that established the expansion games usually do the work of adding way more parts and a wider variety of missions. Silent Line damn near doubled the part count that was present in 3, we can only hope Armored Core 6 gets the same treatment in a year or two.

I liked how Last Raven did it where hangar slots were entirely separate from back weapon slots. I can ditch my assault rifles once they were used up and pull out twin handguns while still keeping my back weapon options in play, usually a small cell missile launcher plus either a chaingun or a laser cannon. Really added variety to encounters and gave me some options on what to do and what to bring. Really hope that if ACVI gets a DLC (and knowing the pattern, it'll be its own standalone game) this gets addressed in some way or form. Also, big agreement on more unique parts. Some of these parts, while visually different, felt too similar statistically at times. Also weapon arms, I was genuinely surprised that there are NONE in ACVI. I missed being that cheeky little Raven with the twin MG arms and melting enemies in missions and in arenas.

The one flex I have on this game is a beat everything without ever purchasing the Zimmermans. Was a 370 speed all missile build

Iguazu might be a salty boi, but he's got nothing on Crimson 1.

VA for this game was amazing. All of the characters was memorable, and a lot of lines went way harder than they needed to.

Armored Core V and VD had the best decal customization imo. I feel like i'm struggling more on VI to slap stuff on. Maybe its because we can't zoom in on the parts that does it for me. Idk 5th gen had a lot of parts but the leg weight and EN load were very heavy. 4th gen and ACLR had the best variety in customization on part types AC body types. What would be really dope is we see mods of older AC parts ported into AC6. Can you imagine Gen 1 NineBall quick boosting around the field?

Easiest way I can think of to describe Coral: Coral is like the internet, if you could burn it for fuel. It is not alive per se, but it is organic and reproduces. Stuff can live on it/in it. Ayre and her siblings are like AI that were spontaneously born under certain conditions (called a Mutation), and these conditions either require high concentrations or high concentrations make mutations (aka a mind like Ayre being born) occur more frequently. They live within the Coral, but as Waves travelling through it. Coral is like the brain, where consciousness comes not from the brain matter (Coral), but from the connections and flow of electrons through it. Coral is really energy dense and reproduces quickly, mostly limited by open space, so it makes a really good fuel.

From what I understand from the presentation in the game, the “voices in the coral” are the strikes of echoing thunder, like a feedback loop in a synapse

"Turntable" is a mech design I'd want gunplay of on my shelf. It's such a protagonist looking mech

FromSoft must watch Bricky, because everything he asked for in PvP is being implemented in the next update.

melee weapons in both hands, physical shields, PvP in all maps, different PvP modes with fun objectives, grab animations (for the hell of it)

Fires of Raven is definitely my favorite ending. Just fits the bleak Merc aesthetic more than the cliche anime hero ending of Liberator and the pointlessly batshit allmind one. Breach the Karman line is by far my favorite mission in the entire game. Shooting down spaceships left and right with unlimited energy and a painful final battle with Rusty and his new AC was the peak of AC6. Im also not a huge fan of sentient space dust which can grow at alarmingly exponential speeds either. Sure Ayre was a helpful Rubiconian, but assuming the have personalities like humans it’s inevitable that a malicious one would appear. Now call me paranoid but I’m not overly fond that idea. It might be overkill but I think planetary genocide is better than letting intergalactic skynet roam free.

The thing about the various missile launchers that makes them unique is more so present in PvP then PvE. In PvP the ways you dodge certain missiles are a little different for each type, in PvE the AI isn't particularly bright so it doesn't matter as much.

Literally the video that sums up my experience with this game. I never 100% a game in my life bcs I never cared about it. AC6 was so fucking good, it was the first game I got all the achievements for. Not only that, the game was so good It made me go back and play the past entries of this series. GOATED 10/10
