Great info... one question though: When to file an I-212? At the same time you start the Parent/Son application? Or after aproval of it and also after visit at the consulate abroad? In the time line... when does an I-212 appear

Hi, I was deported back in 2004 for life (I think). I was a U.S. permanent resident and lived in the U.S. for nearly 30 years. I arrived in the U.S. with my parents in 1976. Currently I have been living in Mexico for the past 17 years. My whole family is in the U.S. My question is, what can I do to go back legally? I was convicted for an aggravated felony (not drugs nor sexual charges) and deported in 2004. What are the steps to start a process in getting back to the U.S. legally? Can I get a pardon? Or a permit to visit at least? I work as a Spanish/English Interpreter over the phone helping people all over the U.S. Please help. Thank you.

So sorry for your misfortune. It must be so hard separated from your family, maybe forever. I watched many immigration lawyer who had talked about aggravated felony, sadly that you are banned for life. But yeah consult with a top lawyer sometimes miracles can happen.

What relief would be quickest to re-enter the US, because I NEED A LIVER CANCER SURGERY, WHICH CAN'T BE DONE IN THE COUNTRY WHERE I WAS DEPORTED TOO. I LIVED IN THE UNITED STATES FROM 1965, UNTIL I WAS REMOVED IN 2005 (15 YRS.). FROM 1965, UNTIL I FINISHED SCHOOL IN 1979, MY STEP-FATHER WAS LISTED AS MY LEGAL GUARDIAN ON ALL MY SCHOOL RECORDS. THERE WAS NEVER A FORMAL ADOPTION. WHEN I WAS REMOVED I WAS MARRIED TO A US CITIZEN, I HAVE A DAUGHTER AND SON WHO WERE BORN IN THE US. I STILL HAVE A BROTHER IN THE US. PLEASE HELP ME. I AM NOT QUALIFIED FOR A LIVER TRANSPLANT. WITHOUT THIS SURGERY MY SURVIVAL IS UNLIKELY.
