Interesting how the only remnant of the original I-235/Kellogg Ave interchange is the ramp from EB Kellogg to I-235 SB

That Mall is still there. At 6:31 is a mall I went into while stationed in Ft. Riley back in 2001. It was actually busy then but the Dillards is ORGINIAL! 20 years plus later.. WOW> I edit this to say one more thing -- It was actually just remolded then in 1999or 2000 and the Dillards you see was the final result.

They have not updated the lighting on this interstate what so ever. Those light post I remember going north onto 135. MEMORIES!

It’s a Dillard’s clearance center now in the old Montgomery wards. The mall is owned by another company that hasn’t paid its utility bills and they shut off the power recently!

at 1:45 is South High school stadium. PS: When did they re-do the Kellogg road interchange? AI don't remember it when I was last in Wichita (March 2014).

They started after that. Maybe 2016.

It's interesting how the only thing is kept from the original interchange was the ramp from US 54/400 eastbound/I-235 southbound. Otherwise the ramps have been completely re-done (much needed due how the tight the loops and the dangerous merge points were from the original 60s interchange)

After driving through Missouri (I-70), Kansas roads all seem like the Autobahn.
