1st. Kseniya, I want to thank you because in one of your videos I asked you about my i485 Adjustment of Status being too long out of processing time and you recommended me to contact a congressman representative. And I did contact one here in Orlando FL on March 06 2024 and they answered me at the next day and my i485 just got approved this March 23 2024. Thank you very much for your advise.

Hey, Kseniya! I just wanted to come back to personally thank you so much!!! Thanks to your help our case got approved!! I really appreciated watching all your videos and I didn't need a lawyer for my immigration case at thanks to your channel. I also asked things to Chat GPT and read the instructions of each form in the USCIS website. Our case got approved in only 4 months! I submitted: i 131 (was not worth paying this, since my case got approved before this parole) i 130 and i145 - got a biometrics appointment only (no interview) and both cases got approved within 6 months. Hi Kseniya, thank you for your informative video on completing the I-485 form, particularly the sections pertaining to questions 26a - 26c. I originally entered the U.S. on an F1 visa, and my I-94 from CBP website indicates an expiration date of 'D/S.' However, I've since changed status to H1B, and my latest I-797 Approval notice specifies a hard expiration date for my I-94. I'm uncertain about which expiration date to use when filling out the form: should I go with the 'D/S' date from my initial entry, or the expiration date provided on my H1B approval notice? Additionally, when completing the 'Immigration status on Form I-94' field, should I indicate the status I held when I last entered the U.S. or my current status as per my H1B approval? If I answered "No" on item 14 ("Has the SSA ever officially issued a Social Security card to you"), I think it's still okay to say "Yes" on item 16 & 17 ("Do you want the SSA to issue you a Social Security card?"). Why do you recommend skipping these two items? Thank you in advance.

I also have this question, I believe we should say yes since question 17 says we authorize them to issue a card and assigning a SS number, and I saw somewhere else that in that way you could get the SSN and card with your work permit.

Hi Kseniya, thank you for all the help you provided, but I would like to point out that your answer to Part 1 question 16-17 about Social Security Card seems not correct. The instruction said "If your application is approved, the SSA may assign you an SSN and issue you a Social Security card, or issue you a replacement card. If you want the SSA to assign you a Social Security number and issue you a Social Security card, or issue you a new or replacement Social Security card, then answer “Yes” to both Item Number 16. and Item Number 17". Based on that, most of the applicant would pick "Yes" for 16 and 17. You said it's only applied to "replace a card" seems not correct. Do you agree?

@@songli5486 SSA will never issue a new number if you already have one. But they will issue a new card if you request it. If you don’t have an SSN you will obviously answer yes to get a new number.

Hello Kseniya, I have a question regarding part 1 of the recent immigration history section. I entered the U.S. on a tourist visa on October 13, 2023, at the Orlando airport. I then went on a cruise to the Bahamas from January 22 to January 26, 2024, and returned to Port Canaveral. I was later granted an extension on my visa, with permission to stay until October 11, 2024. However, my I-94 form shows an Arrival/Issued Date of January 26, 2024 (when I returned from the Bahamas) and an Admit Until Date of April 12, 2024 (the original date from my entry in Orlando). For part 1 (questions 23a, 23b, and 24), which city and date should I list? Thank you so much for your help!

Hello Kseniya, nice step-by-step explanation. Regarding the Employement History, if one is working "under the table", and provide that information, can the Employer be hurt? Or, if we have a business in our name, should I indicate this in the employment history and say I'm a self -employee?

Hi Kseniya, for section 6.a. Who should sign it if a minor 13ys old, filing? Is it the preparer and is it a signature or just sign with a name? Also, section 8.a., does the preparer need to put signature? USCIS stated in there 797C I receive its not valid for this purpose for mother, guardian to sign however my wife is the preparer of the form. Thanks so much again

My application for immigration therefore wasn't made in Australia as such, should it still be listed in the 1485 or somewhere else in my AOS application ? My friend said I can use his address as the mailing address. Should I use my current apartment address, or friends permanent address as the mailing address?

Kseniya thanks always for giving us supporting information. I’ve a question about NVC tho… 1. Once I sign in the steps were… Pay fee Submit ds-260 & Submit Affidavit of support Choice of agent (ds-261) link is disabled and is not working for most of us, I did research and most peoples has same issue. But I did pay, and submitted all documents already. Will there be a problem for not submitting ds-261? 2. Can I add joint sponsor after I submitted my I-864?

Hello, sorry I didn’t see this comment earlier. 1. Usually the issue resolves in a few days. It’s a common issue unfortunately 2. Potentially - if you don’t have an option to upload additional documents or “add a sponsor” you can always bring all the necessary joint sponsor documents to the interview

Hi Kseniya, these videos are super helpful! I am in the process of applying for my mom and I had a question around what questions I should ans "yes" to in section 8 since she legally overstayed in the US during covid. She stayed for 11 months (instead of 6 months). She has a case no from USCIS with approval for extension of stay.

For Part 8 Eligibility/Inadmissibility first question if I was ever a member of a society .. So when I was in high school I was member of the National Honor Society which you get in, if you have excellent grades, show leadership, service and Character.. so should I answer yes to that ?

Hi Kseniya! I find your videos so helpful since I’m going through this process. I have a question about the “Current Immigration Status” question, if I send the package not long before my I-94 expires, should I write that I’m Out of Status? since when they are going to get the package my I-94 will be expired? or should I just leave it blank since I’m filling the information before that happens?

Hi Kseniya, I hope you see my comment. I was trying to track my case on the EOIR page and when i wrote down my Alien number, it was someone else's name and I received a Notice of administrative closure. I don't know what to do, I already called but they told me nothing.
