Seems like a strange Wipeout. Unless it was crap bald rear tires I'm not seeing what made them slide out like that.

It looks to me like it was a major over correction. Can't tell if a car switched lanes into her or she was the interloper. Regardless, she yanked the steering wheel hard left.

@@gsdalpha1358 even so that back and slid out pretty hard when it's a front-wheel drive Mercury Milano. The rear wheel should follow the front wheels if there is adequate traction.

Whatever made the Lincoln wipe out had to do with the white SUV that just crossed the double solid whites.
@gsdalpha13583 жыл бұрын
@@MNDashcam Traction can't overcome a violent maneuver at interstate speeds and (probably) hard braking. Plus, hasn't the Milano been plagued with ABS problems? IIRC, one of the major complaints (which resulted in a recall) was that braking caused the tires to skid. Bad driver, bad car, bad tires - could be any or all of those issues. I'm sticking with "unsafe maneuver".

It looks to me that they were speeding and trying to cut somebody off as they were coming up behind the black SUV with the rack on top. People get really mad when you go to speed limit black suv...and if this is the case....I'm glad this happened. Perhaps they will think twice about whipping in and out of traffic at a high rate of speed. Also their car is so full of shit that they were probably a hoarder and couldn't even see out of their car properly to be driving in such a manner.

If you are in an active Lane of traffic definitely get out if you can safely get to the shoulder or across the barrier. If you are not in an active Lane of traffic it's safer to stay inside so you're not wandering around the highway looking at the damage of your car.

I thought Minnesota has a law, called "Good Samaritan law"? that stop and help the person or persons?
@lindanwfirefighter49733 жыл бұрын
God Samaritan Law doesn’t stop you from being sued it just stops the conviction of you stopping and helping. But you can still be sued and have to get a lawyer and go to court to defend yourself. It’s the court that decides if what you did was what any reason person would do in that situation with your given level of training. A volunteer fire chief in a municipality about half an hour from me worked as a tow truck driver for his paid job. One night in a highway he came across a bad single vehicle accident where the driver was stuck in the vehicle and it was in fire. He ran over and carefully removed the driver. The drivers neck was broken in the accident and he was paralyzed from the neck down. It is why he couldn’t rescue himself as it burned. He sued the tow truck driver for moving him after he was in a car accident. It took years to reach court and $100,000 dollars only to find the judge throw it out of court because of the Good Samaritan Law.
