I abused a glitch and made my first Nuzlocke a shiny-only run!

I wanted to ask some feedback to you regarding the length of the video: did you think an hour was too much? What did you find about the pacing? Should I have summarised the battles a bit more for a shorter video?

Loved the epilogue where we at least got a happy ending to the story. A bittersweet ending as it ""doesn't count"" but still made the video complete :D

The video length was the perfect amount of time for me to make curry from scratch AND clean up a few dishes before digging in, so it was perfect for me! Also, I know that TECHNICALLY within the rules of the challenge you lost at the very end, but what kind of pokemon master gives up when so close to victory! I think it's way better that you were able to try one more time and show the world of Soul Silver that you ARE a pokemon champion! ❤

Although losing was hard (and you can definitely see that in my face) I think it made for a more compelling story. I would've ended the video there, if not having received the Choice Scarf seconds after wiping 😅

Missing out on the ev's from leveling up certainly hurts your ability to outspeed pokemon. Also your fear of losing pokemon is what generally lead to you losing even more. As you ended up switch around giving away free hits a bunch until you were eventually force to sacrifice something. Also minor mistake of think move were physical/special when they were the opposite. Overall was a solid attempt and enjoyable watch.

This was the first of your videos I'd watched, but overall I think it was fine. 50-60 minutes is kind of the upper limit of how long most nuzlocke videos run on yt, so I would have preferred a shorter video, like nearer to 30 minutes. but on the other hand, you had a lot of the run to show off. condensing your narration, cutting things out, and even speaking faster are all things you could do to shorten the video. but I don't know it would necessarily make it better. it is partially up to you to decide if you want to make a longer video with more detail on your game. besides that, I think it's a little unfair to say you suck at nuzlockes. would someone who was just bad at them continue trying so many times? I think it's fairer to yourself to say that you still have a lot to learn about them. besides, there's a ton of mechanics in pokemon that you might never learn from just playing the games casually. One thing I think you could stand to learn is to keep in mind the moves and pokemon you have access to. geodude could have used rock polish against miltank to outspeed it. heracross can learn night slash at level 1, meaning you can teach it via move reminder which might have helped it against espeon. Mamoswine could use ice shard, which has priority, against dragonite. that might have been enough to ko them both. these are just a few things I noticed that might have been enough to win their respective battles. I can only tell you based on what I saw in the video. but I still think you did a pretty good job. you deserve to give yourself more credit.
