@@QuintessenceHD They do less than a 20th of the damage pre-patch. To me, personally, they aren’t all that viable considering the difficulty of the bosses and the new weapons added in the dlc. There are just better options overall.

I'd say we should keep some perspective here. A weapon not being broken doesn't mean it's bad. Compared to other weapons, 1/20th of the damage means that it's in line with most other builds and weapons. He was showing off 50k damage, and 1/20th means it'd still be doing 2500 damage. It's not like every weapon does that much damage in that short of an attack window that reliably.

⁠⁠⁠@@KahranRamsusThat’s true. I do get your point, but the amount of buffing including the extra damage taken from both the armor set and howl of shabriri honestly make it a deal breaker for me. Don’t get me wrong, 2,500 damage is good, but other weapons such as the Fire Knight’s Greatsword (My new favorite weapon of the game) can do double the amount of damage with a fraction of the detriment. Having said that, broken/OP weapons can ruin the experience of the game, taking away that rush of adrenaline and feeling of triumph and victory, so it may be a good thing that they nerfed the bottles that badly. Oh well, fun while it lasted, I guess.

@@Rust-fodvvlilhg I never even got to use it. Was busy with other things after I heard about it. Most of the insane builds like this I've seen all use the same massive buff stacking detriments, but there are a handful of decent ones that can do more damage with less risk. There's just a lot fewer of those. And like you said, it would ruin people's experience of the game, especially if you randomly summoned in a cooperator just to have them one shot a boss like this.

Had a question hoping you can answer I have my internet off to prevent updating but the ash rolling sparks is really close to the spot the great ruin breaks... Am I able to make it up there without triggering that event?

@@darkhero2 thanks only reason I'm worried about it is I guess it moves npc's to there next step and I haven't talked to any of them yet... I'm just hopping in the dlc to grab a few items before cleaning up the rest of the stuff I need to do in base game.
