I did something similar. In one of my classes, we has to run simulations off a server as a project assignment. I thought it would go a lot faster if I ran 400 simulations at the same time and made it so that they would still run even when I logged off. No surprise, the server crashed and nobody could do their school work for an entire day. The teacher had to give an extra day for people to turn in the assignment. I learned my lesson.

This reminded me of something my mom told me I did back in kindergarten. According to her I was a really smart kid who knew how to read, write and even use computers at a much more advanced level. So one day we was learning how to use computers in an upstairs computer lab and I was just clicking around looking through the desktop and the menus. According to my mom she said that I apparently got bored and found nothing fun on the computers so I just decided to delete things to make space for new games and stuff. I guess I messed up big time because after I deleted some stuff I caused the other computers to mess up horribly (we all used LAN networks so it was most likely some host/sharing server program) and the other computers couldn't connect to the internet or anything. I ended up getting suspended for a week or so and was never allowed to use the computer lab or any computers in the school until next year.
