One time, when my upstairs neighbors (I live in a 2 floor, 2 family apartment) moved in. There wasn't a washing machine or dryer, so they bought some, and my cousin was there. When she came over she would sometimes bring candy or if we had money we would go to the Walgreens down the street and buy some. We would try to sell the candy to people walking past my house and never made any profit. But when the neighbors were getting a washing machine and dryer, and we were sitting in the hallway and we asked the guy who was bringing the dryer up if he wanted to buy any candy and he was like "Sure let me take this up, and I'll be right back down." and we were about 7 at the time, so we were super excited to make our first sale. When he came back down he said "What kind of candy do you have?" and my cousin said "Gumballs and reese's pieces.) He said "Alright, I'll take the gumballs" so we handed him the gumballs and he handed us back $25$. We were making that money. That was the only sale we ever got so we ended the business. Sorry for such a long story. This also happened about 3 years ago so I don't remember all the details.

I sold pop at my school. Yes pop. I’m northern. We would buy 12 packs from the gas station on our way to school for like 3$ or what ever. Hide them in our backpacks and sell them out of our locker for 1$ a can. We did this because the school vending machine would sell you a can of apple juice for like 1.25$. So this way people could have pop for lunch or when ever. We would make 12$ off a box of pop. At the end of the day we would be making like 40$ a day. In 6th grade. It was all going good till the teachers wondered how all these kids were bringing in pop and reviewed the cameras. They told us to stop or we would be suspended for soliciting on school property
