Dredge is someone who I play very rarely. He's never been one of my favorite champions - even if I really like his skins. However, I was forced to play him on stream recently, and I was surprised by how fun this match was!

I believe he has not used broadside offensively a single time, even when enemies were trying to get on the point douring overtime. I haven't played dredge in a long time but still wanted to press the funny button when I saw so many juicy enemies on one point. Also it seems that the knockback card works on every broadside projectile so you should be able to place them in a line and jump with each of them, particle accelerator style.

He uses Crow's nest properly in the line, but you're right, he did not properly utilize Dredge's area denial

I use Broadside as crowd control(which I have seen many don't use it this way) . Players obviously do their best to avoid the timed explosion and their movements become more predictable to use Cursed Howitzer or Harpoon. I also launch CH behind players so they become trapped between a rock and a hard place. But I get that you don't usually play dredge and you were more launching yourself(which I must still try and perfect too). Dredge is very fun untill you get a top tier flank always hunting you down.

I use dredge as a living mortar so I just sit in the back or grab angle to get free damage off

I main him, abyss spike best talent. Dredge mains that use hurl are funny when I 1v1 them, they lose everytime and they use healing card loadouts. lol

Depends on the enemies and map. Hurl helps with long range maps or open spaces and flying pain in the asses like Evie and Abyss Spike helps with the flanks or trap kill anyone but yeah 1k damage instantly satisfies unless they have arcane warding which is super rare

Depends on your enemy comp. You're a liability against a good andro/drogoz if not running hurl.
