Because creativity is essentially just already existing stuff but altered and mixed together Even humans are very rarely capable of creating something from scratch The only difference with the AI is that it's not sentient and can't really be inspired by something, and all it does is just finds patterns and tries to stick them together and changing it a little (which is what creativity essentially is)
