i dabble in a little bit of terraria modding from time to time and i just wanted to say the reason you cant use chlorophyte bullets with the circle gun is when spawning bullets in seperate positions/rotations when you attempt to shoot chlorophyte bullets with that it gives you an error and doesn't shoot anything. I dont know why exactly but it probably has something to do with the custom AI and dust that spawns. also love your vids keep up the quality content

@@gabrielho1874 The tracking is done on the projectile's end. tModLoader's projectile class has two functions for detecting nearby enemies, which can then let you access their position value or other values among that. The person who made it is likely missing something like making sure the owner is properly set to the player or something along those lines.

I'm sure others have thought this as well, but the problem I have with these zenith mods is they just don't replicate the vision that the original zenith sword has. They tend to just take a weapon class and slap every projectile/attack into it, buff the damage, and call it a day. But the zenith sword is more than that. It isn't just swinging every sword at once, shooting every sword projectile with buffed stats. That might've been satisfying enough for many Terraria players, but that's not what Re-logic gave us. Instead, Re-logic gave us something that far surpassed just a sword with better stats and more projectiles. They designed the zenith to be true to its name. More than anything else, it gives you the feeling of absolute power. You click anywhere on screen and whatever was once there is now erased; the large arc, wall-pierce, and infinite range makes aiming pretty much an afterthought. The devs knocked it out of the park with this one. In this way, you have so much more creative freedom to design an OP weapon than just reusing the original attacks. There are some weapons here that replicate this creativity and power, but most fall short. No matter how good the stats are, they just lack that gamefeel.

Agree with everything you said. When Zenith came out it, first thoughts were this is THE ULTIMATE weapon, something you never imagined. It gives you that exact power to obliterate anything like you said. But these mods are all just so lazy, copy pasted and not even creative in any sort. No sort of special effects or thought to make it somewhat special, like the zenith’s range and arc like you spoke of. Just literally slapping all variations of that weapon type into that weapon. Always quite disappointing to watch these videos but I’m no modder so who am i to speak.

The main reason I like the Zenith is that it feels like a true conclusion to the melee class. Swords from all throughout the game, all fused into a single blade; the mark of true mastery. It’s more important because of what it represents than how it actually works.

We need a "Zenith serum" (Mount/Transformation that gives a boost to all stats and gives inf. flight but in exchange it takes 1HP per second meaning that (at max vanilla terraria hp) you'd die in 500 seconds (if you no-hit everything) (cannot be used for more than 500 seconds (If used for more than 500 seconds you die instantly (death message for this would be "[Player] melted due to determination overflow)))(This is some near endgame stuff)(hp regen is disabled and you cannot heal in any other way while transformed) Description (when transformed): The Zenith of Terra(rian(?))kind. I think some of them get good point across their design while others don't, so here's my ranking list for all mentioned: Weapons get a + point for unique name Shortsword [MoreZenithItems] - Lame, just The Zenith but small, but without any effects. D Shortsword [Arsenal] - Way better, but still as if could've been better. B Boomerang - Seems just okay. B Scythe - Just C﹢. I'll give a small + point for going extra mile of adding unique(?) projectile of each scythe instead of just slapping every weapon attack on it. Siesta (Dart gun) - I think it's cool, although I really can't remember how even darts work aside from just being arrows or more than 2 dart weapons. I'll put at B+ for now. Ultima (Throwables) - Yeah, probably portrays Zenith idea pretty best with it. S+ Final Fractal (Whiplash) - S+. Gets the point of whiplash on point, being a supportive weapon and not taking a main spotlight from the summonables. Only thing It may miss is visual as in combining every previous whip in it but I can't think how it could've in a good manner either so I'm not counting that. Probably my favorite out of all. Circle Gun (Guns) - D--. Seems just like a joke and is extremely lame and laggy. Two minus points for optimisation issues and joke name while being proposed as a Zenith to guns. Last Spectrum (Magic Books) - Looks like just combining every book attack into one without normalising the damage? B+ Staff - Same as books, B Bow - Uhh C. Why does it combine every arrow when it should combine every bow? Why not to make zenith arrow then. Omega (Bows) - Uhhhh, seems really weird to use, and seems as if it just slaps every attack pattern in one weapon. At least it gets point better than previous one, B+ Party Master (Flamethrowers) - Interesting name, I guess I'll give it a pass I kinda like it. Use-wise though seems only effective with crowds... which it is supposed to only work with. I'll give it a A+, it's just weird seeing this really specific kind of weapon having its zenith version when it didn't even have more than like 2 or 3 weapons in its tier that didn't even have something unique between them other than stats. Yoyo - Idk if I like it, I won't repeat what I said with omega or spectrum, but I'll give a slight pass for being kinda fun to use probably, so A Final Fractal (Staffs) - I guess I'll give it an S+. It gets point well across and is pretty unique. Summit (Whiplash) - Slaps every attack patterns in one and steals the spotlight from summonables, I only see it being used primarily while summons are supportive, when with summoner it really should be other way around. D+ (also why does it summon prismas when prismas are not a whiplash) Gun [Return of the Zenith Gun] - S. Just S. Only wish it had a unique name. (i didn't really understand why it shot different bullets on few guns but I'll ignore that) Styx (Dark guns) - A+? Idk about dark guns mod guns but it's close to the one above I guess. I struggle to rank it but I will rank it down for having kind of disappointing damage output compared to other ones or even just Zenith itself. Fishing Rod - ??? I guess, A Mirror - I think it's pretty unique. I'll give it an S, only though really think it could've had more unique design choices. Ring - Seems in general like just an ultimate stat up. I don't like it, C Vertext (Shields) - I guess A+, I struggle to rank it and kinda want to put it to S since I don't see much problem with it, but it lacks something unique for "Zenith" other than having every shield in it. Kinda lacks in visual department also. Zenithspark Boots - I don't know what possibly you could've added to terraspark that are still boots except for wings (as boots portrayted with wings even before terraspark). I see it just as a mean to combine more equipables into one for the sake of more free space when it also just misses the point of terraspark of combining just boots. C Zenith armor set - I don't see why they combined all class armors into one, also with such guardian you don't even need weapons anymore, it deals more damage than a zenith would. Really disappointing considering what a cool sprite it has (but no unique guardian sprite). D. Drill - Uhhhh C? Mining mount will be better than this. Hamaxe - I guess A+. + point for fastest wall destruction. Pickaxe - S I can't rank toilets but they are way up there I promise
