To solve the beavers can't walk on track issue you could construct double tier bridges. Pathway running beneath the rail deck, beavers can normally build directly above their heads so should be able to install track. Could even go super fancy and add a power shaft tier as well.

Love the Timberborn Series! Quick tip: Stairs actually decrease the range of buildings more than paths do. So if you replace the weird double-stairs after the tunnel with platforms, the ranges will probably increase by a few tiles. The same is true for the log island: if you try to keep the path on the same level instead of using stairs, the buildings on log island should easily be within range of the main district centre.

More specifically, stairs count as both one tile horizontal and one tile vertical movement. So even though it's only on one tile it counts as moving two, because vertical counts too.

nope it doesnt :) your probably confused because of the path connection. if you wanna test this yourself make a path go straight then make a t somewhere then extened the path futher so you have like a y path then replace 1 of the 2 paths with a stairs and platforms an trow a path on top you will see it reaches the same lenght.

What you need to speed up the recovery of injured beavers is not more medical beds, but a healer to produce medicine. Which needs dandelions. Alternatively, have robots work jobs where beavers can get injured, i.e. anything that requires power.

Given the option to build a short length of ground level track closely connecting the districts using a sensible amount of resources, matt be like "mmm nah." It's going to take ages to build that bridge.

If you want multiple trains then use 1 way track signs ( each is like a train control section -- 1 train per section is the limit) & build 2 train paths one outbound, one inbound ( HINT: one can be on top of the other.) ... Also if you have the LADDER mod .. it can go straight up.. no need for a triangle of support platforms.

19:58 The reason the Beavers aren’t able to build from one end of the bridge is you need to add paths. Unlike the suspension bridges the modded truss bridges aren’t assumed to be paths by default, that means you can build other stuff like railroads on top of them but it also means if you want your beavers to cross them to build stuff you need to make paths across the bridges.

If you use 1 height platforms to put some buildings on like around at 18 minutes, you can build healing huts under 1 height platforms. 2 height allows shrine. Griding wheels fit under 1 or 2 high but I don't remember which.

awesome tip! Grinding wheels dont need platforms tho because you can slap a 2 high platform on top :D

I like to build skyscrapers for house and storage, so in the place of a 3x3x2 storage building I might build 9 2 high platforms and a series of med beds and whatnot there, then continue with more storage or homes on top. Save the top for decorations since they apply all the way down.

Oh that's genius! Taking my principal of the pots for rivers so when they dry; there are these areas where water is trapped but for deeper inland. Of man; that's brilliant. With the railroad was an official idea. So gonna download for mine. Why not; if they can make robots; they can have trains too. Also, why have the steps that close to the tunnel? Why not just replace it with regular platforms?

Speakin of Trains, i wud love to see RCE engineerin some **more** train tracks and drivin them around in Tracks: The Train Set Game Its a rly grt game and brings out everyones inner child :3 My fave little attention to detail part is that the horn actually releases the steam, so you can hold down the horn to stop it; just like a real steam train Its got a rly cute style and its like bein able to play as a little kid with an infinity toybox of train tracks and decorations and passengers and cargo. Oh and you can build trains on the moon.

Tip Go back to the old idea of making a path for the water to leave by the sources but make it so you can manage when the water flows out of the map or into your rivers. Basically it will give you full control of the water level
