@@thomashaas5965 Yes Thomas. I understand your point. You are already doing consistent efforts, then do not be excessively pressurised by these things. You are doing consistently, that's what matters... At the end your inner satisfaction makes you winner. Nothing else. Motivate yourself but do not be harsh and possessive. Find balance in your work and whatever you can manage from these things, just to uplift your inner world and be happy. That will be more helpful I guess... 😊

Hei! This is very interesting. Nice program for getting up early and enjoying the day. But i think not all of us are the same, meaning that maybe there are some of us built to finish the energy quickly and then go to bed, and others made to only go to bed when their energy is finished (like the cellphones:)). It might be that this program is good and feels natural for the part of the people who normaly finish their enegy quickly, but for the others, might be a little tricky. And thinking about what the video said: "Learn the secrets of success from those who built their own empires from scratch. " This is fine , but what if only some people need succed?! What if others just want satisfaction? I have a lot of friends who love succes, and speak often about it and others who only look for satisfaction by defalut. And even some that only want peace. Maybe succes is only for a group of people as early sleep is? Enjoy life people:)!!!

Monday Morning for sure, but instead of meditation I will pray. I do one once a day prayers, but two should do the trick. I already wake up early, at 5:30, and I start to work on-line teaching at 7:00am. But sometimes I am still teaching at 10:00pm! I meet many new people on-line as I am teaching. I exercise with a weight under the desk most of the time. I want to find simple clothes, but for women it is difficult because of the seasons. For winter I am set, but summer it is difficult. thanks for this video!

1. The question isn't when you wake up, it's how much sleep did you get. Get into bed at 8 pm and sleep till 4 am for example. 2. Exercise - Motion creates emotion and getting you in a flow state. 3. Meditate - Can be replaced with sport as sport is a kind of meditation already. 4. Tasks - One thing at a time. 5. Networking - Everyone wants to meet new people, know who you want to know and go where you'll find them. 6. Reading / Podcast - Knowledge doesn't stand still and you can create something knew if you connect different dots. 7. Minimalism - Isn't limited to cloths. 8. Money - Spend on the things you want and don't cut back on those if it's your passion.

You could add to your list : "Learn a new language". It is one of the most mind challenging and rewarding activities that could also help you meet new people, specially from other cultures. This is a lack of most native English speakers, as once pretty much the whole world speak their language, they generaly don't see a point of learning a new one. But forget about 2 hours of class once a week. Religious 20 minutes a day should make you achieve a B2 level of any language within one year.

Aaron Rowland You wake up because you have a job and if you don't get up at 6, you will get fired (or get problem). It's problem for those like us who don't have any concrete reason to wake up early (or it just doesn't tips us off) and procrastination leads to using social media all night (even if you don't use it, you just won't fall asleep naturally in time). Good on you that you have a solid reason to wake up. Wish you luck for the job!

I have been on this adventure for a few weeks, not knowing this video existed. You have added some food for thought and I will definitely be adopting some, if not all, of these habits. The ones I have started are, waking up early (oh this is so hard for me!). You are right, there is a HUGE difference in 1) How i am feeling/thinking and 2) What I am accomplishing. In fact, I am upstarting a business of sorts with personal branding and empowering others. I now start my day with lemon water BEFORE coffee and have seen and felt a difference, health wise. I do still have my coffee after.... I have been working out at the gym, hiking, etc for a couple of months. I have lost 15 lbs and it has given me so much energy. When I wake in the morning, though I do not meditate as you do, I pray, have Bible study and have a reflection journal. This has been an amazing thing! I now have my yt set to upbeat jazz all day which makes me happy and energetic. I keep a calendar and TRY to block off everything! It feels great when I check off those accomplishments and goals! I think next I am going to add "meet new people". For some reason this intimidates me, which is funny, because I teach others "confidence". Ah well, we all have something, right? Nonetheless, here I go!

“Successful people are rarely night owls.” Correction....”Successful SHEEP are rarely night owls.” If you’re in the rat race, with a 40-60 hour per week job, then yes, you have to get up early, because your controllers want you to be a miserable sheep. You have to play by their rules. Night owls have been scientifically proven to be more intelligent. They work SMART, not hard. I own my own business, and usually get up around noon, and I’m plenty successful.

The only problem I see in this is socializing, because people want to meet up late and stay late. For example, I like to wake up early everyday and to go to bed early everyday, but my boyfriend has friends who come at the weekend to visit and they come late and they stay late. So should I say, "oh, i go to bed now, even though you just arrived. I want to wake up early even though it's the weekend." All the other things are able to do, and yes you can go to sleep early and wake up early everyday, but not always, sometimes you can't plan your whole live, sometimes things happen that you can't plan before!
@madisongrace48516 жыл бұрын
This is an interesting point. it makes me question all of this more. Possibly the right answer for someone who wanted to adopt a more strict lifestyle like this could either fit those people into their schedule (i.e. im available tuesday afternoon and if you arent then i wont be able to see you until x time on x day cause thats when im free again.) or just finding people who are on your same page. Not sure tho.

Success is accomplished by working more than doing tasks that don't bring important advantages. People who don't practice important work skills are not as able to do those activities efficiently, easily and correctly for an extensive period of time. If they cannot perform those activities, they cannot profit off of them well most of the time because their poor work and performance is not very valuable. For example, if Mr. Jobs or Mr. Gates did not read about, study and work with computers and machinery very often, how would they be able to plan and design their computer products?

The narrator should specify that this is a perfect model for something such as the business world. It is not always so if you are dealing with the artistic, right-brained side of the world. Some of the best innovators and creators don't always follow a routine such as this. Some of the great genuises of our time have all worked differently. Some even going all night for an idea, invention, or piece of art. In you want to be successful in a business career, this is absolutely the model guideline that is probably best. Not everyone is a genius though, and some have simpler ideas that they can bring to life by using these success tips. One of the biggest things he should add to this video is questioning. Some of the most successful people I know also find experts in their respective fields and ask them anything and everything they might have missed reading it on paper or learning in a class.

Also if you do shift work - you're not going to get up at the same time every day, it just can't be done. Pilots, Doctors, Flight Attendants, Nurses, Truck Drivers, Security Guards, People who travel a lot for their job. One day you might be doing day duties, next week you might be working nights.

I concur with your arguments. Even though, this clip is essentially nothing more than a breakdown of the idea of a structured livestyle applicable to the standard concept of *#careerism* . Focus and structure still apply to creative activities, but latter often doesn't seem to be so from the outside point of view. But only for those who do not understand that specific process, as the creative person needs to know oneself much better and cannot be stuck in an standard confomity bubble like all others. Addition: be careful to suggest asking questions for people stuck in the mindset of standart careerism. There is a reason why free thinking and analytical investigative thinking are *NOT* thought on any business university. Superiors do not like underlings who are able to think for themselves.

To see if someone has commented about the meditation-part which the creator of the video got all wrong. Americans think that one meditate for a reason, to feel calmness and and all that. Meditation does not have a purpos, perhaps the only reason is that you like doing it here and now. To have a purpose for the future to feel calm and more focused or what have you is not meditation, it may work for you and that is really cool and great that you benefit yourself or whatever you wish to call it, but it is not real meditation. Well now, that is just a hangup I got from all the youtubers talking about it. I would like to see if someone had commented about that, this is the real reason.

Waking up early is not for everyone. There are studies on how some people function better at night or during the day. To some people, waking up early will lead to bad rest and bad rest leads to mistakes. Some people are more productive at night. Don't blame your procrastination on your sleeping schedule. "Successful People" usually wake up early because they have to be ready at 9am to deal with the nagging of their corporate 9to5 minions. And for really successful people, they have to deal with the 9to5s from different timezones.

In most humans the alertness pattern shows a biphasic distribution, with a mid-day decrease in alertness around 2-4 pm, followed by an increased alertness during mid to late evening, and finally declining to its lowest levels during the night" or "We have these ingrained attitudes that people who stay up late must be up to no good and people who sleep in late must be lazy, but really it is human biology," says Malcolm von Schantz, professor of chronobiology at the University of Surrey.

Lol, not necessarily, there are some YT who share exceptionally valuable information/videos, but some can be quite shy and/or introverted, therefore, they choose this method as a means of delivery so they won't have to get into much discomfort/awkward feeling of being in front a camera by themselves while delivering value, some choose to do podcasts too, in OTHER cases, some people (brave people who also choose not to reveal themselves) just prefer this method as a fun way of sharing info.

Melinda M I'm well aware of the fact that not all people are good at being in front of a camera. That's also why i wrote "A real life person" - meaning that he/she didn't have to use him self/her self as an example, but that any other person who has adopted the habits of succesful people, could have been used as an example. I was just pointing out the fact that people find it easier to relate to something, when they have a real life person to identify themselves with.

I heard it can happen at start, but when You keep doing it immune system gets stronger. I started out with half cold for 2 weeks and the when My body got used to it I did fully cold. I think if Your body is not used to it its not the best to start with fully cold. ;)

I get up early everyday for work (normally 3am). Go to the gym after 3-4 times a week. It blows. Best part of the day is going out for dinner/drinks with wife and walking my dogs.
@AC-ri2ph6 жыл бұрын
I'd imagine so if you're just doing that every day of your life. This guy is doing it to get to a goal in his life. If this is just your normal 9-5 job eat sleep a day routine with no end in site, then of course. These habits are used to change your life in the direction you want to go

I read somewhere that creative people generally sleep late. I sleep late, not killing time by watching series or playing games but by utilizing my time after my regular work to improve myself in making music tracks and editing videos all without a mentor. Right now I am definitely poor but I believe my hard work will someday pay off. ;)

The idea is that the narrator actually did this, but I’m not sure he did. Maybe I’m just distrustful, but six months seems like a lot just for a self-help video on a channel filled with clickbait.

Look into Delayed Sleep Cycle Disorder. I have the same problem and it turns out my circadian rhythm is off. I function best if I sleep 2am-10am. It could be easier to choose a career/lifestyle that allows you to stay up/sleep later and still be successful.
@fionamorgan70776 жыл бұрын
Michelle Leigh I wish I could do that. Unfortunately my “job” is going to school. I have no control over what time I need to be there. I get up as late as I can and go to sleep as early as possible but still end up exhausted. I’m not sure there’s anything else I can really do.
