👍👍👍 Your question weight boarding: it's more or less the inverse of the other function. You put in ZFW/ZFWCG and it sets pax and cargo so these values come out.
@HolgerTeutsch4 жыл бұрын
@@ahmadtheaviationlover1937 I know. My answer was about the "weight boarding" function of the FFA320. You put in your favorite ZFW/ZFWCG values and the sun creates a loading that results in this values.

I am a complete noob when it comes to airbus, but with the 737 grounded, airbus is going to be the only game in town for my VA that I can use and ToLiss 319 is on sale. Question: as far as how the MCDU and procedures for navigation go, is it pretty much the same between the 319, 320, and 321 pay aircraft? I'm not trying to start a flame war or anything, I just want to know whether instructional vids made using the 320 or 321 would still apply for the 319? Hopefully, you see this. Thanks in advance, and many thanks for all of your videos. I appreciate you doing them and the knowledge you pass on.

@V1Simulations You've probably answered this a couple of times but I haven't found the answer yet. Why do you start engine 1 first? I looked into the Airbus FCTM and it says to start the Engine 2 first. Well, if the Engine 2 got some of its "moody days" there's no problem to make a cross start with engine 1 though.

In a real life scenario, would you ask delivery for your clearance before or after programming the flight plan? I normally first get my clearance to avoid having to redo my fpl in case atc changes up my flight plan, but I wanted to ask for your opinion.
@V1Sim5 жыл бұрын
Mario Aviation great question, so for us we are typically at the airplane before our clearance is even ready to be received, so to make good use of our time we do program the filed route from our paperwork ahead of receiving clearance, then once the clearance is ready (typically 30 minutes from departure) we receive it via PDC (printout) and compare the routes. If there a changes we make them at that point but more often then not it will be what is filed from the company flight plan

Really enjoying the videos! I noticed during your takeoff roll, the control position is neutral (the little white crosshairs that are on the PFD, which go away as soon as WOW is in "Air")... my understanding is that standard Airbus SOP indicates to hold it ~50% nose down and then slowly return to neutral as you approach 70-80 kts? (Obviously crosswinds would be different...)

Great video, thank you. I have never selected a transition in a SID or STAR and not sure I understand what effect this has. I also enter the trim value with the flap setting on the perf page of the MCDU which you didn't seem to bother with. Looking forward to the next instalment. Keen to understand the various indication symbols on the PFD during decent.
@joku755 жыл бұрын
SIDs sometimes branch out, so after the main part, there are multiple routes that come out and lead to other waypoints. These secondary "branches" are transitions. STARs have the same, but opposite. The transition/branch leads from an en route waypoint to the main route of the STAR
@V1Sim5 жыл бұрын
Think of it like highways and side streets, the Arrival or Departure are the "side streets" the enroute airways are the "highways" and the transitions are the on and off "ramps" connecting the two. As far as the THS setting in the MCDU it does nothing for this aircraft, the THS can only be set after engine start anyway. Its our procedure to set the trim as part of the after start flow and checklist. We verify it several times with checklist before takeoff. Some airline procedures may use this box as a "reminder" setting but not what I am familiar with. Hope this helps!
@rogermoore525 жыл бұрын
Thanks very much for the replies. Understand the transition concept and have started checking during planning. Also thanks for the THS answer, the Jar A330 uses the setting to automatically set the trim wheel whereas the FF and ToLiss do not. I had guessed the Jar operation was BS but assumed the MCDU entry did more than act as reminder. thanks for the clarification and appreciate your time in replying.

I just bought it today and encountered the same problem. What you need to do is find the CEF folder in plugins from the a320 folder, copy it, and then paste it into your xplane plugins folder. If that doesn’t work or is a little confusing just search it up, thats how I found out. Hope this helps

Look for your CEF folder. It likely got put in the Airbus 320 > Resources > plug-ins. Move it into X-Plane 11 > Resources > Plug-ins. I had the same problem and this fixes it.

Anyone knows you have to be able to redownload from time to time because there are so many bugs. Awful company, treats their customers like garbage. MS2020 is a lot better program and company.
