Good podcast Moodupani, Tik Tik Tik movie select BgM pieces were the first one to reach through fillers on some LP records and Cassettes followed by MDK chaitaan / Punnagai Mannan theme music. OST= Original Soundtrack ARR was the supplementary keyboard player for many movies under IR ( starting from Moodupani, as mentioned by ARR in an interview and worked close to 400 + movies till Roja with IR, as mentioned by IR) and worked on the programming for the Punnagai Mannan theme music and the Vaan Megham song. There are few YT channels with more than 200 + Tamil /Telugu BGMs (not all with great quality).

Glad that you mentioned My Dear Kuttichaatan BGM. While the children part takes you to a fantasy world, the ones that he had used for the magician is just scary. The use of traditional instruments to create that theme was out of the world. Doubt if anyone could think like that and give that kind of output (available in YT). Not seen that kind of score from any in Indian Film Music. Also the BGM for the horror movie Uruvam (low quality production movie) is just out of the box thinking. With due respect to ARR and others no one has tried genres other than their comfort zone for BGM.
